Hello all

I have pulled off a few succesfull outdoor grows and have decided to move inside. I have a 1kw Hps already and a room I can partition.

What would be the most efficient size area for my 1kw lamp?

Advice for nutrients accepted as well. I would like to be growing in soil.

50 watts per sq ft is considered minimum. 100 wsf approaches the point of diminishing returns.

thanks

So somewhere around 75wsf?

Even 65wsf should be pretty good and extra space can produce more than a bit more light.

Reflector matters, they throw different shapes - some more rectangular some more square. Picking the right one to match your space helps.

A 4x4 table is good for 1000W, 16 sq/ft = 65 w/sq/ft. I use a 1000W HPS over a 3x3 table and get excellent results.
