Update at end of posts!
Hi all,
I am new to growing and have been growing this baby in my wardrobe and back garden.
I have had the light frequency at 12/12 for one week now.
How long before the plant shows it's sex.
What is meant by the expession, "Showing Eagles spurs"
The plant is about nine weeks old.
Any special foods for it now it is going to flower.
I have been feeding the plant with black tea since a seedling.
No idea what strain of seed this was.
Any advide greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanvce.
Happy growing.

You might have to wait a few weeks for the preflowers to show and be big enough to determine if it is female.

Keep flowering 12/12 and keep watching the plant where you see the node look for a small ball hanging down if its male and if its female you will see a pistol with a hair

Update 3rd week 12/12

Update 3rd week 12/12

Hi all,
Well three weeks down the road and I have got small buds forming.
I believe the seed came from a bag of Thia I had last year.
Since changing the light fequency and my light to 125 watt enviro red/orange cool fluro the plant has gone crazy.
My problem now is it has nearly peached the light.
I tried to bend one of the stems over a bit and it snapped off.
You can see the hole it left on the right of the photo.
Do I just wait as long as possible for more buds to form and then cut them off, leaving the light to grow out the smaller buds.
She is very healthy, only one time have I hurt it. I over nutrients the water when I changed her feed to a Guano mix. I took the water outy of a water but in the garden full of rain water, forgeting I had already treated the water with a 5%4% Nitrogen/Phos. I burnt the tip of the leaves. Also now the leaves are deep green almost roof slate color, so I am only feeding water at the moment.
Any tips, if I leave her she is going to bust up the wardrobe.
As you will see she has almost trebled her size in the last three weeks 12/12.

she looks good man. if she's reaching into the light you should try and tie her down again.
if the branches are breaking try bending them down slowly, like just a little bit every day.
a few years ago i found these rolls of twist tie that have their own cutter on it so you can make any length you want. they work great for lst as they are so easy to adjust.
highly recommended.
nice set up you made for yourself. best luck.

Much appreciated bro, am going to go look for some right now.
She grew nearly another inch in two days.
Am going to try a kind of guy rope thing and make adjustable guys so as to slowly pull her down.
I'll post how it goes.
See if I can't get better pictures of them leaves and forming buds.
The end of the leaves are very thin and trail off to near needle tips and have very deep jagged cuts up thier edges.
Smells very sweet indeed!
