new to dry ice co2

I'm thinking about adding some dry ice co2 to the room. Maybe once or twice a week, 2 lbs at a time. room is 8x16x8. Whats the best way to apply this? I was thinking of putting it in a styrofoam box and poking holes in it and just putting it in the flower room with the exhaust fan off for an hr or so. Will this do this trick?

for those who have seen my room you know it isn't completely sealed, is this a lost cause? the dry ice is pretty cheap so I might as well try it, right?

how long does it take to dissipate?

I have only used it to flash freeze vegetables like peas and such. Just be very careful when handling and such.

If I recall correctly, dry ice is like -77 to -110 degrees. So touching you is a no no. Also being too close to a plant could cause shock I assume, and touching a plant could be terrible.

I assume it could be used. Just be super careful.

Dry ice is a bad idea for a number of reasons, you'd probably just be better off with better ventilation, humidity control & light intensity to be honest. Co2 tends to enhance a very well tuned grow, but often can have negligible effects if you have other limiters already such as lack of light, nutrition or environment.
