New Technology that can re[lace PC fans!

They claim "long life" and how its superior to rotating fans due to "no moving parts" etc.. but I don't buy it... Most materials, metals, plastics etc.. if you keep flexing them back and forth (which is the method this "fan" uses to operate) eventually they break at the "flex point".

I would love to think this is the way forward for replacing rotating fans, but it sounds far more like a gimmick and a sales pitch full of BS to me. Looks like trying to cool objects by waving your high-school ruler infront of them a few dozen times a second... it has no "direction" or flow of air, minimal pressure (its ability to "push" or "pull" the air through a cooling circuit) it just waves it around the place and this is meant to be superior cooling?

hmm, ya, sorry but useless :(

don´t forget about the lil fact that u probably would need >100 of them to replace one 120mm pc fan...

...also as Devilman already said, there is no airflow
