holy hell
it was alright... but I prefer the 80's simpsons... the political and cultural references they make are great and don't make a whole lot of sense to kids these days.. haha... Bart makes a joke about Reagan... lol

no, south park stopped being funny when Cartman turned into a sociopath... King of the Hill is great, though.. but the best is Aqua Teen Hunger Force hands down!

I like south park and family guy more than the last 5 simpsons seasons. I still prefer Ren and Stimpy and Futurama to any of them though. Too bad theyr both cancelled. Futurama has 3 movies coming out. I can't wait. The first I think is supposed to come out this summer. I saw the aqua teen movie friday. It was good but not as funny as some of the funnier episodes.

didn't really like Futurama that much.

Simpsons is a classic but it has been going down badly. South park is funny.

i laughed a couple times during this latest episodes, which is much more than i can say for most of the episodes for the past 5 years... so not bad

but koth and venture brothers are at the top of my list as far as quality animation

latest cool koth oneliner:
"I closed a door and opened a window"

the thing with cartoons that actually have a plot to them... there is a conflict, it is resolved or continues on to another episode.. eventually, everything comes back to where it started- to keep the story alive for another episode.. The thing with Futurama ( and this is why I don't like Futurama) is that when there is some conflict, it is often never resolved in a good, satisfying way.. most cartoons make you laugh and feel glad you saw them at the end, but futurama just makes you flat out frustrated and depressed at the end because things didn't work out, or if they did, they didn't work out well.. I dunno, its probably just me... it is unfortunate that with most cartoons, good things never last a whole episode- Leela might be in love with Fry in the middle of the episode, but by the end of the episode, things are back to where they started.. its quite frustrating to me.

Yeah, I can see why that could be frustruating to many, vg. That's why I was so disappointed to see the series get cancelled without any resolution. I actually have a theory about fry and futurama. I think they were building to writing fry as being the second coming of Christ. When he went back in time and impregnated his grandmother with his father making him immaculately conceived in a weird holy trinity kind of way.

I did forget about venture brothers. That really is a great cartoon. I wasn't a huge fan of the first season but this past season was hilarious especially the episode where they parody scooby doo and give shaggy and scooby traits of david berkowitz and the imaginary dog that told him to kill. I love it when Fred uses "groovy treats"- a pill bottle to get them to do what he wants. Then Brock drinks the ayahuasca and starts fucking a pink dolphin. There was one scene where the Velma character quoted the Scum Manifesto of valerie solonas who tried to kill andy warhol. That's my favorite cartoon episode of all time.

Isn't the Simpsons movie supposed to come out soon. I hope it's good, I haven't watch much of the show lately, it seemed to have sort of fell off.

I love South Park these days. It's funny how the new episodes are up to date with current events. Plus it's hard to deny the greatness of Towlie.

Agreed. It is still mildly entertaining, but only slightly. It is too controversial and gory now, and the animation is too much. It looked better when it was still half crappy and the kids were pretty wholesome, fucked up but wholesome.
Simpson's fell off long ago, IMO. It was one of the greatest and a cartoon by which all others are compared, but it really sucks now. I can not stand it.

I thought last nights episode was pretty damn funny...Moe in the ball gag behind the bar...

I have all 16 seasons on DVD so eh, some are hit and miss, but all are still " The SIMPSONS"

I heard July on the Simpons Movie...

they actually scrapped the movies idea and they're turning them into episodes. i believe there will be 12-16 eps and presented on comedy central.
