New room

As you can see from my other thread I am in the planing phases of a new room set up.
Plan;
Change a 10'x16'x9' room into a partial grow space.
Meaning I want to use a grow foot print (4/32 gal tote underC) of 10'x10'.
Using (3400watts) 4-600 hps in the diamond pattern and 1-1KHPS in the middle.
(bare bulb V)
Question; When figuring out the watts pr sq ft. Do I use the 10x10 foot print or the full room 16x10?

I've got 1 mini split 12Kbtu on the one side of the 16' span and a window shaker unit in the adjacent wall also 12K.
I don't think it is enough to cool things so I want to exchange the air along with it. How do I figure the air exchange along with the use of the ac units?

I am sure many questions to follow....

If calculations are correct than I think I have to exchange the 1440Cft of air twice a minute.
How much lumens would I loose if I use cool tubes and did a passive lighting system?

I can't remark on the AC as I always use fresh air, but as far as watts per sqr you use where the plants are sitting. So if you're filling the 10x10 with plants, then thats your space.

Your lights seem fine to me.

You pots are huge though!! Why so big? Peeps around here can grow 2# plants in 5g buckets? Thats just a LOT of water and nutes..

I am trying to mimic what Gettogrow is doing but starting a bit smaller.
He uses these size totes and wow! look at his results. I know he has more lighting. But still...
I all ready have the 4-600's in other rooms (over head lighting), 1200watts (pr room) over 12 RDWC systems but they are not where I want to be as of yields. (1.5# avg)(5'x7'x7'area)

I have another room started a few yrs ago with 3k vertical passive cooling in the middle of 6 hybrid RDWC/MPB style. and get 3#. (7'x10'x10' room, 43wsq')
I know vertical works better for me but have not tried bare bulbs.

So 34 watts pr sq' would yield OK?
Does bulb placement come into effect with yield more so than watts p sq'?

Your lights seem fine to me.

Even though there is no wall on one side of the 16' span dividing the grow space from the rest of the room?
Still calculate it as 10'x10'=100sqft. 3400w/100=34wsqft?
or
10'x16'=160sqft. 3400w/160=21.25wsqft?
