New room set up?

In a couple of months I'm gonna be moving to a new house. I'm gonna have to downgrade the size of my current grow due to size and electricity. The room I'll be able to set up in is 8'x8'x8'. Looking for ideas how some would set up a space like this for clones, veg, and flower? I'm thinking 4'x8' for the flowering area with either one 1000watt or two 600watts. The veg area being 4'x4' with either a 600 watt or dropping some cash for a Gavita 300 Plasma. And then under a table have a T5 or ??? for the clones or seedlings.

Only grow in soil. More often than not scrog but I may on occasion try a sativa dominate strain and go for some height.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated seeing as I would still consider myself a novice.

honestly for a 4x4 area in flower i would stay with the horiz scrog. 1 1000 with a magnum hood air cooled, 2 plants under the screen, 8 to 9 oz per plant yield.

Does no one pay attention?

The OP wants to use a 4' x 8' area to flower and the 4' x 4' area to veg.

I'd definitely look into either 3x 600w HPS or 2x 1000w HPS lights for the flower area.

1x 1000w HPS is not enough to efficiently cover a 4' x 8' area and is suited best to a 4' x 4' area so if you go with 1000's get 2.

With 3x 600w HPS lights I would stick to a horizontal grow, with 2x 1000w HPS you can go horizontal or vertical.

I'm certainly open to all suggestions. Curious also to how other people would set up a room with the dimensions I'll have available. Unfortunately one of my constraints is gonna be my electric bill and I think 2 1000's might push me to the limit.

maybe consider a 3x6 for flower and 3x3 for veg. it would allow you enough room to install a partition to keep any light leaks out and make negotiating the grow easier. that is if you are trying to keep everything in that 8x8 space. you would have enough room for tables and all your ancillary items as well.
