is that a skit from saturday night live??? around here only the sober folks get messed with ...when a safety meeting is announced at the bar everyone heads out back to river and tokes up..... ya they really call it a safety meeting lol...took me a few times to realize what was happening,then I blazed everyone up

frankly I don't give a damn ...the only time I ever tried to hide it was from the cops....but I don't run around giggling like a kid and my eyes are red cause I am hung over lol... I have had several people over the years comment on my reek of weed...most of em got toked up..... I earned the right to smell like stanky weed,much better than cologne to me......peace

i've got a "custie" that gets high and everyone does know it. he's in his early 40's. he turns his hands palm backwards and waddles like a baby while his hands swing back and forth just like a toddler when he's ripped. he is a businessman and acts like this in front of customers and his grunt helpers (landscaping). he has lost a lot of hard earned respect very easily doing this.
i get high every night. sometimes i start swinging my hands like he does and waddle around the house going "no one knows i'm high" just for grins.
ridiculous video and "reefer madness" funny. i'm a drunk (alcohol) that quit drinking 7 years ago. i used to drink at all hours, puke at all hours. i am so lucky to have good herb to puff. i got no problem even wanting a drink now. i only smoke after the day is done 'cause i used to be such a white trash drunk in public for many years.
yeah, the video is funny. ppl do know when you are high and if they are struggling to make ends meet and they see you out during regular business hours stoned and glazed over red eyed slurping on that ice cream cone they might just form an unfavorable opinion of you.
what's the difference between going around stoned conducting business and going around drunk conducting business around ppl who are straight? it's something to consider imo.

Cannabis isn't comparable to Alcohol. Don't think it for one minute. This video was a joke you know?
I have talked to cops while high, I have smoked at work, and I smoked a joint before doing my driving license test. Think they all knew I was high? I think not. They didn't mention it, and I got my licence. The only thing the instructor could come up with was, "you should check your blind spots more often". Not trying to brag or anything of the sort, I just want to make it clear that Cannabis is not debilitating to all who consume it. The only way people know I am stoned is the smell. Any medicinal smokers(or serious heads!) would likely agree with me.
i've got one strain i really interested in 'cause you can really focus on work and get a lot of productive stuff done on it and ppl can't easily tell you got a buzz on. no, you are right, ppl don't always know when you are high, but when you are obviously ripped and acting like a goofus in front of ppl who are hurting, striving and struggling just to survive .....
my earlier post was one sided and reality is much more complex than a one dimensional view can handle.
i have no problem with what someone else does as long as they are not endangering others and yes, the reason we smoke is 'cause it doesn't have the negative consequences of alcohol.
i do see some real damage some tokers do to their own own lives/reputations. i was kinda throwing out a devil's advocate contrary perspective but i would much rather see ppl smoking instead of getting drunk, no doubt.
i've been wanting to get back to this thread and balance out my earlier post but it's been a while ( 2 months) since anyone else posted here.

I get good and blazed right before going in for my drivers license picture, that way whenever I get pulled over the pic matches what the cop's lookin' at.
there are some members here that believe if it's on YouTube, it is fact.
