Just switched Light set up 2 runs ago, and ran into a similar issue on the last one as I am now.. I went from normal SE bulbs/hoods to the AC/DE sunlight supply hoods which are incredibly more strong. Lights are to the ceiling and still getting what I think is some light burn.. The only thing I think I should have done was vegged for an extra week under the stronger lights to get the ladies acclimated to new environment from Veg... What do you guys think?

If you've reached maximum height where light(s) are located....possibility of LST/bending down branches/colas (gently)?

Not sure if acclimating an extra week would help....other than trial and error.

What's the wattage? I know it's ca-CHING ($$$)....maybe lesser wattage?

Merely suggestions......

Hang a shade cloth of some kind over them for a few days. Looks like light bleach to me.

When moving from low to high light is like going indoors to out. Need to harden off gradually. You will be fine once they recover.

Good luck!

For me going from 600 single ended bulbs in veg I turn my de's to 600 in the flower room and gradually turn them up every couple of days. Sometimes they still have issues.

Awesome, yeah that was my first mistake, next time Ill make sure to do that.. Lock Out kinda looks similar to that right? that shouldn't be the problem since they have only been in a week and only gotten 2 feeds, roots are great, and having good bud growth already..

Same old Goofy mistake 'we' all make sometime, more light ...more growth, time to enlarge that space, and stay sharp for any excess stretch, any further issues change your strain...?

Nope, luckily, I just got stumped on this one. I was thinking it looked like lockout possibly, but was pretty positive it was just some light stress. I just needed some reassurance haha.

actually some of those leaves look eerily similar to those that have Vapor Pressure Deficit / VPD - it essentially is a sort of burning / bleaching of the leaves but it has a lot to do with the humidity levels too. Especially the bigger leaves in the front of your picture.

you may want to have a look in this thread about VPD just to rule it out, I think you could have either one (just plain light bleach, or VPD).

hmmmm this is interesting, I have a mini split that does make it dry as hell in there, with NO CO2... maybe i should put a bucket of water to sit in there or something to up the humidity and see what happens.. your thoughts?? CO2 next round also possibly..

A bucket of water may be enough (if it is indeed VPD) or you may need a humidifier / dehumidifier combo, . . . it all depends on the temps you're running. Here's a VPD chart, as you can see if you're running 75F temps (for example), your humidity shouldn't drop below 55%RH if you want to avoid VPD. The VPD chart is really extreme in my opinion but it seems to be scientifically sound, it's just extreme in the sense that it would be really hard for a lot of people to always fall in the "green zone" on this chart (i almost NEVER fall in the green zone on here)....

(edit: this picture is super small for some reason - but if you google image search "VPD chart" you'll get a bunch of results with this chart)
