Next time mix it in with the soil...for now...put it on top and water as usual. Not too much though...a tablespoon or two depending on your pot size. Spread it out well, keep it away from the stem a few inches.

ibj, thanx!! i put 1 teaspoon around as even as i could i may have gotten too close to the stem though. thanx to u 2 anonomousgrower. i dont discount ANY information and next time in the dirt first! my problem seems to be getting worse! i hope this is the answer.

What IS your problem? Maybe lime isn't the answer...or the only answer.

Remember...nothing (except a wilting plant getting water) happens very fast with a growing plant. Expect days before noticing any improvement. Look for not getting worse.

Lime will fix Ph and Ca/Mg problems. It won't fix over watering...a big killer and easy to do.

ibj, my plants are looking like they have a manganese def(like the pic in stiches guide to sic plants) the ph of my soil went to 4-5.5 and it seems to be getting worse. i was using spring water with a ppm of 325and i added another 300 in nutes. the runoff is at 1100 ppm wich tells me i may have lockout. imo im using sunshine 4 medium. plants are cloned. strain is red diesel.any sugestions? im using ro water with a ph of 6.5-7and am using with no nutes at this time. dont wanna blast em with nutes when ph picks up cuz the soil is loaded with them from not being sucked up by the plants.:wallbash:
