New growth pistols?

Hey guys i could really use some help, i know pics would make things easier but i can't at the moment. About a week ago i had a few plants that looked to be a couple to 3 weeks to chop down. The last few days have been really hot. it seems like overnight a couple plants started spitting out new pistols, white hairs. Im not sure if its fox tailing, a buddy came over and said it was due to the heat? Not sure if i should pull or leave them in? maybe its a growth spurt? but this late in the season? I have a high powered scope btw, maybe i should cut a branch and check the trichs? Thank You

If you're in Sonoma you're unlikely to get frosts unless you're high up in the next few weeks, so I'd leave them, if nothing else it'll increase the yield

What strain is it?
Some sativas will produce buds/new pistol growth in stages, even when leaving lower branches on the plant after harvest.

you are still about 2-3 wks out?
a little new growth isnt that unusual
i think you are one the right track about taking a closer look at the trichs tho
no need to cut the branch off but take a look to see how many milky heads you have
esp look for the darker amber ones

for now i would just stick to your plan of 2-3 wks

i have a couple Berry Nice plants. Its Blueberry X Mr. Nice. I have a Phantom plant thats under a structure, its Cherry Pie X GDP.

Im just not sure whats going on with them. I gave them a little bit of N the other day cause leafs are yellowing, the yellowing could of just been a sign of the plant maturing. i gave them plant super food its 15-1-1. the shit reeks like fish. I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it? Im in Sonoma County yes. I guess we are gonna get some rain next week as well, but the temps will be getting back down to 70's during the day

Sounds like they're still growing. Find caterpillars recent posts about when to harvest. Fyi there are a handful of the exact same threads. Try the search.
