Thanks for the encouragement! I dont have much of a plan right now. I am open to ideas. I am not sure what the best option is for a 5x5 Grow Tent and a T-5

I suggest a lot more reading, before you pop seeds or acquire clones.

The biggest subject you don't know right now is how much you don't know. Not trying to be mean or anything, just real.

Growing is like golf... if you don't have the right idea on what you need to do, it's really easy to spend a lot of money on equipment you don't/won't need. Growing is also the number one hobby where it's too easy to throw money at a problem instead of knowledge.

Go for knowledge... it may take longer to acquire but you'll spend less and get more in the long run. :D

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

I am from the USA but living in Germany at the moment and moving to Sweden soon. That is where I will start at. I totally understand I have more reading to do. I will get right on that. Since I am here in Germany I am going to be making a small road trip over to Amsterdam and getting my seeds directly from a shop. I would really like to try a nice sativa or a sativa predominant hybrid.

sativa's indoor for a 1st timer can be VERY hard....
look @
Cannacopia C99 hybrids
Mandala's Satori
Female seeds C99 or grapefruit....FEMS.... no males to remove or loose...in time and space
if u end up going nirvana cause there every where in the dam....
look @ there ICE and pure power plant for Sativa hybrids....

I would do a SCROG under the T5's to maximize yield.
I like the idea about running it for a few days and making sure you can keep the temperature and humidity in check. Make sure your keeping track where the plants canopy is going to be.
i use Thermometer's / Hygrometer's that keep track of the highest and lowest readings.

But after it's running right I wouldn't be afraid to pop those beans you're only gonna learn by doing it.
I would recommend finding a strain that is good for beginners.

Good luck.

also....
what bulbs did u get w/ U'r t-5
U'll need the 6500K... blue spectrum for VEG...
and the 3000K ... red spectrum for flower....
IE: half way thru grow U will need to swap out U'r bulbs....

I would also recommend that the first run is with bag seed. Work out the bugs and then go for the good stuff...

I did it that way and it worked out great.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I will try out the c99 or grape. I cant argue with results and that picture looks nice legalizeDK. SCROG sounds nice too but for a new grower that might be down the road from now, I don't want to bite of more than I can chew. A 1KW would be great but I am worried about Heat and the electricity consumption. I am from the USA and we use loads of electricity but here in Europe they seem to be more conservative with electricity use, which is great, but at the same time not for a grower like me, I don't want to get busted because I have the highest electricity consumption in the area. And with the heat, well having a 1KW is going to add even more risk try to vent that heat off without being noticed.

I did get the Veg and Flower bulbs for each cycle. I was reading up on Lumens per foot and Watt per foot. Seems like I wont be pushing as much Lumens Per square foot as I need with that T-5 and a 5X5 grow tent but I think the advantage might pay off in less heat and running my fan/filter less often and less heat build up that I have to vent out of the tent and out of the room.

It also looks like the 452 CFM vortex and the 550 CFM carbon scrubber were a bit too big for a 5x5 area. With the T-5 I could possibly get away with only running my fan and scrubber once per hour to circulate the air since the heat wont be a huge issue right? Or should i run the fan 24/7?
