So this is my first time growing, i've have my plants for about 2 weeks now and they are looking beautiful. I started flowering these clones the day i got em. I have 3 white rhino, 3 grand daddy purple and 2 green crack. I have 4 40watt fluorescent tubs over them, and there growing in soil. i water em every other day and haven't used any nutrients or stuff like that yet, (i will be using super natural starting on Wednesday) plants are about between 1.5-2 feet tall. was just looking for an estimated or educated guess on how much i will yield from my harvest in 2 months.

If your plants are 1.5-2 feet tall, that's 1.75 averaged.
1.75 x 8 plants is 14.
14 x 160 watts is 2240.
2240 x 2 months is 4480.
So, you should end up with about 4480.......

so i'm guessing your formula is height of the plants times amount of plants, going into watts per foot, then times the amount of time they will be growing. that seems like a large total estimate if your going by grams. maybe that's an average of 1 tenth of a gram?
so if i'm correct in my guess it continues to be 4480 x .1 =448grams?
448/28= 16 ounces?
I think i would have a heart attack if i produced that much with what i have set up, but i like the rough estimate. any more ideas?

i noticed theres a secimal point 2 in 1.75 so maybe if ya do good he ment 45gs. dude if u pull newhere near the lb numbers u would be hands down the best all time ever. even wet weight. aim low since its ur first time and surprize urself expect an ounce if ya get more pat yourself on the back dialed in after a feww runs u may get closer to the 1/4lb mark. i would consider switchen strains to if yield is critical to ya. gdp is amazin smoke but not a big yielder and a pita to trim. and green crack likes a nice veg and lotsof light to get massive buds fast. from what i know it can yield huge under 1k but with fls is very popcornish. i can be wrong tho. but u will def have some great heady out of those plants either way. one quick tip go light on nutes. i hate to see newbs burnin em less is always more.

I've talked to a few people, im getting a 400 watt mh light and going to change my room around a little, was thinking of continueing to use the fls but as a little side lighting, and having the 400 watt sitting about a foot above the plants. still new to everything but i do want to to produce as much as i can with my very little budget (or else i would have gotten a 1k watt light)
