New Grower Transplant Question (small scale backyard grow)

Hey Guys and Girls,

I have a question regarding transplanting.

So all of my starts are from non-feminized seeds, and it's taken me until now to sex them. Now that I have culled the males, I am ready to transplant the girls into what will be their final home.

The starts are currently in a 2 gallon root pouch (smart pot style container), and I'd like to transplant them into a 15 gallon root pouch to finish. My question is, is it too late in the season for these starts to take full advantage of the 15 gallon pot they'd be transplanted into? Would they be able to fill the root space entirely or would I be better of transplanting them into 10gallons?

I know this is a much smaller scale than a lot of grows people here have going on, but I just want to harvest a years supply to get me to next year's outdoor season. Self-sufficiency is the #1 goal.

Thanks very much ICmag, this is my 3rd season growing and it gets better and better every year thanks in large part to the invaluable knowledge I pick up from the community here!

May everyone's field's be sunny:tiphat:

The more soil area you can give a plants root to stretch out, you will be paid back with bigger yields. I recommend you try one plant in a 45 gallon pot.
