new grower first time

i need help my plant is dieing after i replanted it look at the last post please help. its drying up

this is my first plant. my friend gave me a seed and this is what it has turned out to be. the first couple weeks the plant was showing not much growth at all. and then it just bursted out and is growing. i take it outside in the morning and bring it inside and its under two 32 watt bulbs. i dont know if its a female or male yet. and i want to clone it so i can sex it but i dont know if its ready to be cloned. my friend had a plant and it was a tall skiinny think and mine turned out to be a bush.

so i was just wondering how im doing. and if i can clone it.

I'd take one of those little side cuts and throw her under a 10/14 photoperiod,12/12 is OK too.

make sure you read up on how to make a successful cut of 45 degrees. air will kill it

looks nice and healthy. id top it at the 5th node if it were mine. i usaly clone the tops of topped plants and flower those to determine sex. but thas just me.

Keep an eye out for pests if you are taking your plant outside. They can get out of control quickly when brought back inside. Plant looks great so whatever you are doing keep it up.

Pinch the very tip off.Fertilize the plant lightly with 1/2 dose of maxsea 16-16-16 made by botanica(not botanicare).Wait 1 week then take as many cuttings as u want making sure to leave a small growing tip or two on each branch to make new growth.
too clone it i recommed buying perlite from a nursery,and then get some distilled water from grocery store.Also you will need a small bottle of kln rooting solution or similiar product.Fill a small clear plastic cup with perlite up to 2 inches below the rim.use a double edged schick razor blade for a non -disposable type razor.These are absolutley the best.Dont cut yourself and cut the branch at a 45 degree angle so its not straight,and pour just enough water into the cup to raise the perlite up an inch or 2 to the rim,and poke in the cutting.place it under a flourescent in your closet or in a safe place,and give it 10 hours of light on ,and 14 hours off.in about 11 days you should know what sex your plant is,it might not even have to root to tell u.If its a female keep cloning her if u think shes a good strain.But usually its good to flower something once till harvest before you start propagating the heck out of it , just in case it has an undesirable reccessive trait or just plain sucks..lol

DGAF, you need to get your plant on a steady light schedule. It's prone to Hermie if you keep doing what your doing with taking it in and out, the indoor light is no where strong enough.
CFL's is what I use 150w, a big bulb. not the best, but it works for me.

Dont clone your plant til you have determined the sex of the plant, yu dont want to clone a male, paper bag the plant to determine, or change the light schedule on the whole plant to 12/12, or longer dark period, thats what trigger's the flowering, usually 4 to 8 days, goodluck dude.

great looking plant man! keep up the good work. Just know that cloning can be kind of a complicatied procedure, i'm not a noob and i've had issues with cloning. Just be sure to use one of the cloning gels or something to give you some help.

You dont have to flower your whole plant..LOL
You have the right idea.Take a lower branch.Do as I said.Put cutting under flourescent in closet where light cycle wont be messed up and with 14 hours off and 10 hours of light on.It will most likely tell you if you do it right.If you have a sensitive strain and you try to sex the entire plant.It could have drastic effects ,I sware I know my shit.Youre way better off trying to flower a branch or the top as a cutting.Worst case scenario you might have to wait till it(whole plant) shows u a natural preflower, only takes usually about 30 to 60 days of normal growth.Your plant looks beautiful so I think It will preflower easily.Leggy/ lanky unhealthy plants take longer to sex.

okay thanks all for the replys. i pinched the tops of the lower branches. and now below the leafs the stems are a little purple. what does this mean did i do something wrong.

my friend said it was a chronic seed. i think i topped the side branches wrong. the stem under neat the tops are sorta purple. but i hope it fixes it self had starts growing more branches, we just have to wait and see. thanks for all the replys

okay well as a long time has past by i have figured out that my plant is a female. i took 2 cuttings from it when i saw some hairs. those cuttings have rooted. but the problem is the roots are still in the water cause i have no soil to put them into. i also took 2 cuts late in flowering so i hope those root. and i cut the main cola and i am drying it right now. i left a few bottom branches and some popcorn buds and all of my plants are under 24/0 light 32 wattbulb. im hoping that it will turn back into vegatative mode and start growing again. so i can keep cloning her. ill have picks up in a little bit. please tell me if im doing good. thanks

i need some ideas on the rooted clones cause i dont know what to do. i change the water everyday.

oh and also me and couple friends smoked a little bit of it. and we've decided that this bud it really really good and it is not chronic. this high is a different high. maybe because it was pre mature i do not know but its a high class kush.
