*New* grower (600w hps/MH-7200k) Organics!

So i decided to just redo my threads from before because i was getting very vauge and just being kinda ignorant. I also didnt take the time to read some simple threads about rules and how to do stuff, also figured out about picture albums! ha! Lets try this another time shall we

As of this moment Here is a Basic Look on my grow room (garage)



8 X 8 X 9 (H) room, with a floor vent in the room itself. The Garage is 9 feet tall and im using 8 feet long/across but in the middle and kinda up top i have some built in "shelving" perfect for holding up ducting and using it as a seperate growing area <--- was thinking of using the upper area, where the lights are on this picture, as a vegging area with a seperate 600w system running MH 24/7 with a tarp/cover in the center so i can close the room up when the flowering room is in DARK and open it up when the flowering room is LIGHT so i can get Both MH and HPS on flowering lights, while still getting complete darkness.


^ here is the "wall" blocking the light that comes from the garage door when open/closed (can park 3 cars in my garage), sectioned off the back end.



And here are the BABYS at 2 weeks veg under 40w t12 6500k and 48w CFL 2700k, just transplanted em to bigger pots.
So far this is my First grow and its looking pretty good

X1 OG kush (sprouting)


This blueberry strain was from norcal (emerald triangle) and taken straight from the plant. they arnt feminized so i have some heirloom seeds coming in the future. Im planning on starting with these 2 plants and hoping i get a good male blueberry and cross it with this OGKUSH (if its fem, Visa versa if not)

Anyone have some tips for a nub? iv been hanging a towel in a bucket and pointing the fan on it so i get some humidity but it looks like the temp is perfect and the surrounding humidity is 40-60% outside, even more inside.

Has anyone here used the yeast and surgar method for Co2? i wanted to know if using a small bucket with a surgical tubing venting out of the top would work as a continuous Co2 machine? is it advisable to use this method when growing 5 plants? and if so, should i have it hanging so the Co2 drops down on the plants at all times or should i just try to make it "foggy" below

Here is the Soil that im using! So far this stuff is NICE! I had a slight N+ burn on the plants but 1 flush was good enough. i used only the potting soil for the vegging process.





I just started to flower on monday, yesterday, and i put the fert in on friday. I gave the plants 3 days of veg with the fert for an easy transition. so far so good, im crossing my fingers!!

And here is a better floor shot. this is BELOW the shelf on the first set of pics i sent. If you look at the first pic, right above the third pot in the back, you can see the floor vent. it has about 1/2 an inch of breathing room and light can only reach in during the day time (on period for my babys). But as you can see its alot of waisted space... Was thinking of using this below space for the germination area but i cant think of anything... anyone have some ideas? maybe use this area for growin some indoor veggies/peppers or something?! lol

So yea, does anyone here have any tips on multi light growing? im going eventually end up buying 1 more 600w system untill i switch my voltage to 240. IDK if its complicated to switch it myself but im no electrician. I know how to wire up stuff and i know simple wiring methods but i highly doubt i have the ability to do this myself, unless its simple (anyone here done it themselves, i live in an appt).

But yea, when i get my next 600w system should i use both lights (hps/mh) on veg and flower or should i use 2 and 2 ( 2 mh for veg, 2 hps for veg ) or is there any difference??

any tips on lighting should help! ty yall, hope you like it! First grow, and FIRST LEGIT THREAD i think i have posted myself, any feedback or questions would be sick! hahahaha SO true! i have about 100+ seeds, ALL blueberry, so after this first one i plan on scaling by 4, plants wise. I tend to get ahead of myself but as of this moment im sticking with these 5 (untill i figure out the sex) Im getting all sorts of excited for my first grow...
Ill update some pics in a few i think its about 420 right now

ok folks, so iv been lookin and it looks like this MH bulb i have now might beable to support flowering??

Take a look at these pictures, and tell me what you think? the MH is missing alittle yellow spect but it has EVERYTHING else...

Maybe i can use the MH with the CFLS 2700k for flowering and vegging?

Okay folks so it looks like im Scratching my HPS bulb and im gonna do a complete cycle with MH and 4 CFLs at 2700k.... WISH me luck!

I found out that my MH bulb produces every spectrum that the HPS does and then some. It also shoots out ALOT more UVB rays and the plants seem to LOVING it...

I was wondering why my plants wernt flowering as fast as i would like, but maybe this is it ALSO ill be taking pictures of the plants to get an update on them be back soon

OKAY! so my theory on swaping the light bulbs (from my hps to my 7200k mh) has been a good thing. The plants are now growing like they should, the proper stretching with the tight internoding!

I found out that when i transplanted the sprouts to bigger pots, i luckily put the 2 male plants ( i had no clue ) in the same pot so i was able to just take out the pot and put it upstairs The males, now 1 and 1/2 males because of high winds, are looking GREAT up on my patio. They didnt have ANY problem with switching over from indoor light to outdoor what so ever, they even spent the night outside and collected a-lot of dew!! I thought that this male wouldnt make past 2 days outside do to the weather but these are VERY resilent plants so far...

And so we have 3 females out of 5 plants, i got pretty lucky but i figured it was a 50/50 chance.

Heres my tall baby, shes next to the little midget.



And here is my slanted baby, i pulled it down alittle to see how the undergrowth would do with more light.... its lookin good..



Midget is on the left while slant is right next to the CFLS




And heres a close up of the male... i was thinking of transplanting the midget female and putting it next to the male outside on the patio and keep a small midget seed plant ?!?!

Is it a good idea to seed a smaller female? it was just a late bloomer is all....

So im starting to have doughts on the genes of these seeds... Im starting to think that this bud is a hybrid, possibly a blue cheese or a blueberry cheese? Has anyone has anything that closely resembles this??

Heres my male, im hoping its a hermi but at the same time idk... its making some pretty big pollen pods but besides that he just looks healthy... Im planning on using this male and buyin 3 diff clones that are ready to flower so i can mix this male with 3 diff sativas, making a hybrid....

But at the same time i kinda wanted to cross this with some autoflowers so i can make some seeds but idk, anyone have some tips? should i get some autos and seed em or just get 3 diff clones (sativas) and seed them with my indica

my little guy is doin pretty good... i like how some of the pollon pods are purple and theres a gooood amount of em... I cant tell if this plant is Straight male or a hermi but eh idk and idc. if its a hermi ima be super happy





Iv seen female plants before but this is my first time with male. what do you think?

Heres my BABIES!!! its 6-4-12 today and i just took da pictures. i wanna say week 2-3 of flowering... nice and tall?? I SWEAR this is the stretchyest BB i have EVER seen.... Has anyone else here had some BB that stretches like this? this is my first grow tho...

OOOOOO so my first flowering and look at these buds.... so far so good!!! since this is my first grow im tending to TRIP alittle bit more on what these plants are lookin like but from what iv seen they are lookin ok??

Anyone else here have a BB strain that stretches like this? or is this just how indicas work? lol.... or MAYBE this BB is a hybrid?

hrmmmm well lets see here, the seeds...

I got the seeds from a grower that lives or works in the emerald triangle (somewhere in norcal, i believe it was humbolt ) The grower (iv no clue who) gives his stuff to a friend of mine, more like a friend of my father-inlaw, and he comes down and distributes medical marijuana...

Perfectly legal <--- but besides the fact, the seeds were given to us and we were told it was BLUEBERRY.... now idk, but when i had it, it smelled like blueberrys but was a heavy indica. I wish they had DNA testing for marijuana, but if i was told that these are some white widow i wouldnt know the difference...

I have a male plant atm that im going to keep outside for a few years till we need a diff male so ill have some seeds... I also have about 50-70 more seeds left from the original batch, im saving them just incase i need em but i also want to save em for later use....


I have the 600w about 1 foot above the main stem? i shoulda topped them but honestly i never have grown b4 and i just wanted 1 test run to spark my engine.
