New grow low yield

Hey guys. I posted a grow years ago that was very small scale but pretty succesful. I am now in the Rockies growing on a much larger scale as a caregiver. I just harvested some girls and my yield is so much lower than I ever could have imagined. I need some advice as to what mistakes I could be making.

I'm growing in a ocean Forrest perlite mix with a small anount of light warrior. I am using 1000 watt blockbusters and my temps r about 78/79 lights on and about 68 lights off. The main difference here is I'm about 9000 feet high with a pretty low humidity. I was not using co2 but I will be In the future, but this can't account solely for these awfule yields. I'm sure you guys will ask for more Info but this is all I can think of at the moment. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

I've read that it's more difficult to grow at high elevations,I don't know how to advise you though, maybe some rocky mountain growers will chime in. Good luck

Hey

You will need to provide more information to get the help you require.

Firstly what strain did you grow this time, I see last time you grew big buddah cheese and northern lights, these are both strains that have a great yield and are not sensitive to over/under feeding or PH swings.

Perhaps this time the strains you grew were more sensitive or naturally lower yielding?

Next, how are you training the plants? If looking to maximize yield the SOG or SCOG methods are recommended. I would research both of these methods to see which one is right for you.

I don't know anything about growing at high altitudes, I wouldn't bother with the CO2 until you get the basics down.
