New grow build...2 smaller flower rooms or 1 big?

Hello i am building a new shop and it will have either a 20x10 flower room or 2 10x10 flower rooms. My partner wants to have 2 and I am leaning towards 1 since I think we'll be able to grow more in 1. We want to do to a perpetual and pull half the plants once a month. I know I can get total darkness for final days in a 2 room setup and can't in a 1 room but the bottom line is I think we can grow more since we don't need double the room for walk ways and we'll get more cross light in 1 room. We'll be using DE hoods or perhaps large LED but still researching how good yield is on DE replacement LEDs. Ceilings are 10ft and we'll be using either one or two mini splits. Long term cost and profit is what we care most about. thanks

You could run 2 rooms in a flip configuration to save on some equipment, that is get flip boxes or ballasts, so when one rooms lights go out the other side turns on at the same time. This type of setups still has its pro's and cons, haven't done it myself but I can see the benefits. You could also use a motorized damper setup to redirect the intake or exhaust flow.
Also I believe one room can act as a lung room or vice versa.

I suppose the biggest benefit is if you only have so much power to deal with, running a larger room might involve costly electrical upgrades. If you have the amps I say go big or go home :) although 2 rooms also sound better than one...

One room is better than two, I have 3 10 light gardens in one room and it's awesome. Light overlap is your friend, in fact, the happiest plants are in the middle of 4 lights.

Fewer fans and ducting, fewer doors and less hassle by far with 1 room.

Running a flip flop on 2 rooms kinda sucks because most parts of the world have seasons and running lights during the day during the hottest summer days REQUIRES air conditioning, and lots of it.

Just run 1 big room and run the lights at night, you can thank me later, lol
