new grow after an forced break....

So I have reached the point of satisfying my undying urge to grow once again now that my legal restraints have been released, for the past 10 months I have been testing smallish grows, no bigger then 25sq ft but that was more strain hunting and dailing in the promising prospects. After selecting cherry bomb and white widow x big bud I did an initial run in a 5x5 to which Im pleased (details below). But now I am off the radar and ready for production, so this time I'm aiming for a secondary trial run on mass numbers within a 5x10 tent 2k hps. I have 14 mother plants (7 of each) plus the original grown from seed mother of each strain, which if allowed would provide 250-400ish 3" viable cuttings every 2 weeks... The strains have roots within 7 days of cuttings, and with 1 week of veg at 4-6" tall (on flip day) with roughly 4ish nodes, very little devegging, no training, will (and have) yielded 8-14g per solo cup lolipopping (both strains) At a max 14" tall from soil level when finished.

I have a few questions tho in regards to doing a high count with young / small plant sea of green.

I prefer soil as I have grown in this medium for 8ish year previous to my court ordered break. I have a few questions on some set up; how would I fit 800-1000 plants in the given space using individual containers per plant, solo cups are too large at the mouth ,and seek individual containers with a maximum foot print of 2 1/2"-3" with a volume of 12-16oz? And how would one water this staggering number without doing it one at a time? I tried dripper system which I constructed and set on timers but ended up having to baby sit during watering so I didn't over or underwater (assuming this water system was poorly designed and constructed).

Any thoughts on a 5x5 tray full of soil? Any flaws or down sides to using 1 mass container for 800+? And again how would watering be handled for this method aswell?

I have already gone the solo cup route in a 5x5 1k with a total of 225 plants with a yeild of 2088g dried. but I feel there was wasted space after fan leaves were devegged and I know I could double the plant count and still receive the average weight through out in the same area.

thanks for your input, and I feel excited to be part of the community again!!!!

if you have ever been busted or harassed with grow - you will never be off the radar again - just my 2 cents

Less bigger plants? I don't think I've ever seen a 2'' pot that holds 16oz. Your best bet would probably be a large water bottle with the top cut off if you didn't need thousands of them. :p

Instead of drip watering why not just do a timed system instead? Take off the drippers and just time out how long it takes for the line to deliver x amount of water and turn the pump on for that long every so many days.

You got 4.6 lbs from a 1k with 15 x 16 solo cups?????? I wouldn't change a thing dude, 2.08 GPW fucking KILLLING it if that is truth, I'd stick with that.

There is a type of hydroponic pot that takes up 4 x 4", and holds about two litres of medium. Can't recall the type name, but if you poke around you'll find it no doubt. I think coco is your new friend, or at least something to consider.

Grow in coco using treepots held within milkcrates (to keep them upright) fit into large ebb & flood tubs? By bottom feeding you'd get salt build-up in the upper layer of the media, so you'd want a watering wand to wash them occasionally with straight tap water to move the accumulated salts back down.

There was a truck driver from Australia who posted here, who grew small plant sea of green in beds of peat.

But true, you're only half off the radar. Why maximize your plant numbers and tease fate with the feds, when you can fit all your needed colas on bigger but fewer plants? You say you want to do this max small plant sea of green because that's what you know. Maybe it's time to learn some new methods.

Well there are ways I have stayed off the radar since and unfortunately (and maybe fortunately) lead me to gain a partner. Well said person is just a face for rental agreements and to help split the load of devegging and trimming ;)

Literally the moment the lease is signed flower will commence that day. Tents will localize and minimize any potential damage to the rented location and till everything has completed hang drying and put into large air tight storage bins for curing and transportation. Total time from lease agreement to lease sterilization should be 10ish weeks max at which point the next location will be hopefully ready for this cycle to restart.

With only ever 2 people on site once at the initial set up, once a week for nute mixing for the auto watering system, and once every other week (during nute mix day) for agressive devegging there should be minimal traffic to throw any flags, also no trash will ever be disposed there, and again a redundant air filtration system.

Where I live in order for a search warrant to be granted there has to be 2 or more probable causes; someone flagged and driving thier own car to the site, disposing of growing evidence on site(which they can and will search the garbage cans or communal dumpster....) odor of flowering plants beyond the interior of the address. and call in complaints (odd traffic, smells, etc) to which would allow the cops to potentially find 1 of the earlier statements would grant a search warrent.... but I'm am flying low and have a mask on so to say ;)

But currently i am leaning towards 1 big bed for each light and some sorta flood and wick/bottom soak type of watering style... seems to be the easiest but I have concerns for manicuring and if I will be able to do so with out damaging any ladies if I have to try and reach over a 5' span

"Your either trolling, really stupid or 12 years old"

You came in here three times to give him shit. What better example of a troll is there, my aptly named friend?

Cut some slack. He was either under probation for a long time or got out from a federal vacation. There is a better direction for him to head in, but do you think your dickhead approach is going to help him get there? Take a nod from Crusader and learn a few social skills.
