Tell her you just came back from the doctor and you have some bad news. You need to get your affairs in order and should be with family. Tell her that your feelings are strong for her but it wouldn't be fair to drag her through the process that's ahead. This would guarantee you an amicable separation and some fantastic good bye sex. I've been seeing this woman recently who has a father and brother who are both cops, and her ex is also a cop. He's sort of in the picture as they have a son together, who he gets one weekend a month.

We've smoked herb together at a concert, but only what was being passed around by others as I didn't bring any with me, but she has no idea I grow and aside from toking up at the concert with her is not aware that I smoke.

Frankly I'm torn. We get along well...but the fact that she has cops in the family has me freaked out. Not growing is not an option for me at the time either...

Looks like your choices are stick with the girl and stop growing while your with her, or just get as far away from that situation as you can and grow in peace.

As others have said, the family/ex will probaly run checks on you if they have not already. If they do get suspicious the ex will quizz the kid for info on you etc. If they catch the smell of weed on you on multiple occasions they will start to get suspicious.
Shit the girl might be cool with you smoking and growing, but all it takes is for her to get upset at you and tell her father/brother/ex and its game over for you.
Or what if the ex gets jealous and starts digging around.

Personaly your situation is full of red flags to me and i would stay as far away as i could. Shit if one member of her family was police i would be cautious, but her brother father and ex, thats just asking for trouble.
Never trust a woman with your freedom because as soon as things go wrong she will turn on you like that, i have heard to many stories where shit like that has happend and people have lost their grows and freedom over a bitch wife/ex.

If i was you i would walk away from the situation, just sounds to risky to me.

You and some others have made assumptions without having all the facts.
1) Is O.P. in a legal or med legal position ? unknown
2) O.P. is just starting to date her = a hell of a damn long way from moving in together = consider that first before the dire predictions of doom lol
3) Is O.P. commercially growing or just a couple plants for self ? unknown. If just a couple plants, girlfriend that likes to toke probably would love to have a little free smoke.
4) The assumption that O.P. will "scorn" the woman or have a failed horrible ending = just because you ( and I ! lol) have dated crazy psycho women does not mean the O.P's girl interest is like the crazy psycho's some of us have had trouble with.
Some people have somewhat normal relationships without crazy drama lol

Any grow should be kept on the down low for as long as possible with ANY friend, family, love interest = nobody needs to know. A couple girlfriends I dated years ago never did figure it out because it was locked away from them.
Living in a med or legal State is one heck of lot nicer than living in a non-legal stress.

I would avoid this situation too. She might seem cool, but you don't really know her yet. You don't know someone's character after hanging out together a few times. Some seemingly sweet and kind women can turn vindictive at the drop of a hat. If something goes wrong in the relationship, she'll have the power to ruin your life. Assuming you're growing illegally and she knows about it.

Even if she's cool, the cops in her life will check up on you trying to find a reason to bust you. There are too many things that can go wrong here. If any one of them happens you could lose everything.

I'm in a legal state now, so I don't have to worry about the risks anymore. I told several girls about my plants when I was growing in Georgia and Florida. None of them ended up being "the one". Those relationships all ended. I was stupid to have told them about it. I'm lucky to be a free man after taking those kinds of risks.

I have had bad judgment and dated the Mayors coke head granddaughter. Her father worked for the city and things didn't end well either time that things ended.
