New Flower Section, Need YOUR Input

ok, my head has been killing me for the past two days (do migraines last that long?!?!) and it has prevented me from coming up with any good ideas... i need a good design quickly

I just received some genetics that i have been looking foward too, so i need to get my flower box designed and funtional asap.

I just got my 400w hps, it has an unvented chrome hood (should i paint it white on the inside?!?!) and was thinking of a design for a box... well i don't think i can make one

see the whole problem is that i need this thing to be able to be broken down and hidden pretty quickly (and my girlfriend has to be able to do it too, we live together) in case of emergency (fuck prohibition) so that made me think i could do

A: Hang dropcloths (for outerlayer) and mylar (inner layer) from attached zippers (hard to explain, basically they are pieces of sheet plastic with strong glue on one face and a zipper running along the side that you can stick to other sheets of plastic, drop clothes, etc). These would hang from the joists in my basement all the way to the floor, basically making a little seperate room in the corner. My only concern with this is light leakage. Smell is not an issue.

B: Hinge Box (which i have not bothered trying to think of how to biuld). Has anyone succesfully used ones/have instructions to one?

what do you heads think? I appreciate the advice

Hanging black poly backed by white showercurtains with aluminum tape worked for me.

Thanks for the diagram! what program do you use?

also, how small can i go with a 400w'er w/ minimum ventaltion, i plan on getting a fan but only enough to meet the requirements

i don't want to have more than 4 plants flowering at once (they will be lightly trained but not much, just enough to fill the 400's footprint)

I used photoshop for the diagram.

I believe Lucas posted the formula that Watts/4 = CFM, so in your case, you'd want at least a 100CFM fan. I'll see if I can find a link to his posts.

try a reptarium! They are collapsable terrariums available in many sizes, just back the nylon that comes with it w/ that panda plastic and you're good to go!
