Most of my pics are on OG but I found these on my HD. The Biddy Early (top 2 pics) was harvested on Sept 13 and the Early Riser (bottom 2 pics) on Oct 5. Both are good strains for New England guerrilla growing conditions. Sept 2005 was an exceptional. Warm, sunny and dry.
got some er going out this year . only cause their getting old and i want to make a few crosses. i aint a fan of early strains normally. as they usually suck . c99 still is a fav.so wheres the rest of the ne growers at? davewashere LOL
after last year things look so sketchy. so many helicopters, so many busts, it was as if they were really stepping it up a notch. Outdoors almost doesn't even seem worth the risk at this point in these parts...maybe other places though
BC very nice work and great photos to, last year was a great year, not a lot of sun but enough, I am betting this year is going to be even better, could be a water issue though,I will have to pick up the ole farmers Almanac, hey sometimes they are close
BC can you say where you got those beans? seems like the ones to go with, Sept and Oct fantastic time to get them down,
now I have to find a good spot, I was thinking the obvious, maybe the Arbitrium over in W-Roxbury, or around Blue Hills, not a lot of wilderness around where I live, any suggestions would be appreciated, hope this NE thread continues I miss the old one that was in OG,
Dave I remember your posts well, you were a prolific poster with some great outdoor advise glad I bumped into you again, got some going out now you say? it has been unusually warm to say the least, but now we are back to single digits(Crazy shit) I will start indoors around May 1 and place outside when NE weather dictates, old Italian trick I learned from my Papa was never put out the Pomodori's before the last full moon before Memorial day, always worked
Good to see you guys. My take on outdoor growing is that can be a lot of work compared to growing indoors. It would be different if I could grow them in my back yard with drip irrigation! A lot of lugging water under guerrila conditions. One run under my 270 HPS and i get 3 oz of killer buds. I would say it is at least 5 times the effort to get 3 oz. outdoors and the quality is a few notches lower. Also, you are limited what you can grow in NE because of the short season and humidity (mold).
Nice to see you to BC, unfortunately I am an attic grower and I actually had a hard time keeping temps down during this winter, the summer with two 400w the combined temp would burn them within days, of coarse I could go with an ac which I am thinking of doing,
from a thread that sticks in my mind,
you know your a grower when: I posted your plants are warmer than you, this summer I can post :when your plants are cooler than you, either way are little ladies do come first don't they lol
nothing much going now but veggies .soon as they get moved i will start.i managed to find a few spots over the years that self water due to their location. i had posted about it in the old thread at one time. i will be searching for more like them as soon as my new trolling motor comes in.i like to plant near small streams that arent great for fishing and are heavilly overgrown or swamps. i also like using a kayak to go where other water craft cant.now i need to modify my new trolling motor to fit the kayak.
