a new adventure

framed a new room in the garage. drywalled it. painted the inside. 24 of MOD's dreamgoddess in the cloner. ready to load in the equipment. you can see we have a 240 plug available inside and also a skylight. the garage is surprisingly cool, and there is an enclosed attic above which is surprisingly hot but has lots of vents. the garage temperature is in the range of 60-68 (temperate). we are considering A/C or traditional venting. any input or experience on this would be appreciated. we plan on using our aeroflo2 system SCROG'd with 20 plants prob with floranova and 2 600's over it. we also are going to run at least a third 600 with some potted plants perhaps. the dimensions of the room are 9'2"L x 7'4"W x 8'4"H. We have two 6" vortex's and a 12" vortex at our disposal as well as a LG 8000BTU window A/C.

venting and tubes moved in....

have one 6" vortex pulling air from the garage then pushing the air through the lights and into the attic above the garage. the vent then goes directly into an exhaust hole in the attic. another 6" fan is going to push air from the room/scrubber into a seperate attic over the laundry room next to the garage.

clones still trying to root. was 60-70degrees in the garage so we moved the ez-cloner inside now its a little warmer 76 max. 8 days in the cloner, no roots hopefully the temperature will get them going faster.

had to install a subpanel off our 240 line. now we have 60 amps of 120 outlets and we could add 20 amps of 240 if we wanted.

here is my friends dreamgodess from the same mother we have ours from... the clones are rooting now that we moved the ez-cloner inside. turned on all three lights for a couple hours and temperatures seemed stable at 72 with lights on. should be up and running within the week!

tyler: clones are 15 days in Ez cloner. could have take better cuttings, and also had them too cold for first 10 days (60 degrees). now they are 75 and there are 6 rooted i believe. pretty good timing as we arent quite ready for everything to take off yet.

Lookin good SuperLarry! I don't wanna rag on your post which is goin very well by the way, but if you cut all that access slack in your ventilation it would work a little bit better. Either way, your doin a great job. Subscribed!

P.S. The 4th picture in your first post....I like the dog with the hat in the doorway haha! On second thought maybe he/she doesnt have a hat but it looks like it at first glance. Good Luck buddy!

It's always fun to run into a phish fan. I am a huge fan of the Lawn Boy album, even though their live music is better. That's a good point you made too, sometimes I forget the little things like the excess exhaust so the lights can go up/down. Thanks for knockin my head straight, id lose it if it were'nt tied on. Keep it up, can't wait to see some new pictures!!

hopefully we can get this thing rolling sooner then later. the setup seems ideal, but our plant numbers at this time are not. here we have one light on 18/6 and about 10 girls in the tubes. might just have to go big!


oh and the fence already in, but lowerable to any level we need.

the nice start has gone a little sour... i've been over in the growroom design and setup and infirmary gettting things straightened out. we had a little bit of trouble with the cloning and only about 12 of the 24 rooted. first the ez was too cold then it was too hot and after it took all that time the clones seemed to carry a little rot with them. they began to grow in the aero system but we were a little paranoid and ditched them all. now we just have a couple kush and a speed queen and a bunch of seedlings in there.

we have a water chiller so the water temp is taken care of but we are considering putting in an A/C as this setup is in the garage and its in southern california. more to come folks!
