This is from the Denver Post http://www.thecannabist.co/2016/05/09/marijuana-crash-man-arrested/53859/

Latest bust that the Denver post wrote about, http://www.thecannabist.co/2016/05/...nts-seized-2-arrested-17th-since-march/53740/

The grow was discovered, officials say, after a patrol deputy driving by the residence at _________ early Friday morning saw lights on in an exterior building and smelled pot.

The color of HPS lights can be a dead give-a-away to any one, not just the cops...

"And I smelled pot!" is the blanket excuse to corroborate what the sheriff had been trained to notice, the peculiar glow of HPS lights. Might as well be a giant flashing neon sign.

The address is on the other side of the county from Pueblo West, out in Avondale.

From what I have heard it sounds like the cops got into several groups growing in industrial scale in rented houses all over the state. They bust one find out is connected to several (or more) others in different towns. If this gets much larger I see the Feds coming in doing slash and burn type tactics. I don't feel bad pushing my plant count numbers during cloning after reading how many some of these guys are doing. But if everybody doesn't start following the rules it could all go away and send us back into hiding in corners. That is also why I am seeking to learn more natural and organic growing and pest control. Don't want to be accused of adding to the pollution problems. If it stays too Wild West out here for too long they will shut it all down.

From what has been published the majority of these people where from else where. Several people where from Cuba, I think. They talked about how they moved here from some where else. So it seams these are mostly people who have moved here to Colorado with the intent of growing their pot here in Colorado and shipping it out of state in large amounts. These people are going to mess things up for the rest of us.

Marijuana candy's maker sued over Colorado murder

Marijuana candy's maker sued over Colorado murder

The sons of a Colorado woman shot to death in 2014 have filed what appears to be the country's first wrongful-death lawsuit against the recreational marijuana industry.

The lawsuit claims that the company that made the marijuana candy and the store that sold it to Richard Kirk recklessly and purposefully failed to warn him about the bite-sized candy's potency and side effects - including hallucinations and other psychotic behaviors.

Hours after Kirk purchased the marijuana candy on April 14, 2014, his wife, Kristine Kirk, 44, called 911. She said her husband was ranting about the end of the world and jumping in and out of windows at their home in Denver's Observatory Park neighborhood.

All three of the couple's young sons heard the gunshot that killed their mother.

Hmmm  I wonder if there could have also been a large amounts of pesticides in those edibles that are now banned? If so the State could in theory be added to that lawsuit for their lack of over cite of testing products. Just a thought.

Good luck with that. It's like suing the liquor industry for drunken idiots killing people. Intoxicated or sober, we're all responsible for our own actions.

I was just sitting here wondering if I was going to renew my badge. It expires this month. I'm still on the fence about it.
Definitely renew, if you expire you'll have to go through the original process again and pay a higher fee.

Expired 5 days ago. Nice huh? :)

On a good note, My LAB Serum gallon jug just blew up in my face. :)

The only good thing is it smells nice, and it's pretty easy to clean off the walls, floor, etc...

I try to crack the lid every few days, but I guess I wasn't doing it enough.

Lesson learned, and no one was injured.

I was just thinking about male plants and plant count.

Do males count toward your plant count? I assumed they did, but thought I would ask anyhow. I haven't heard anyone speak about it, and most people throw males out.

There isn't any stipulation in the wording about males versus females in regard to plant count. So I think it ultimately boils down to if a cop could fuck you, would they? :2cents:

I'd assume that they would, busting grows is easy peezy and it gets their "collar" count up.
