the tips of the leaves on my super skunk plant are brown and crispy also curling up a bit where the brown is. i dont know much of her history but she now is sitting in a soiless mix of 1/2 sunshine4,1/2 peet with a quart of pearlite. i believe shes been in the dirt only one day.not sure. im told she is about 2 months old. i fed her 1/4 nutes lastnight, that being floranova grow and ph of 6.5 im using ro water. i have t8 floros about two inches from her. temp is at 72f,there is fresh air constanly, not sure of humidity. id guess 30-40%. the color seems a little light. im also told that she was fed ff tigerbloom with koolbloom and no grow nutes. maybe a little calmag but im not sure.
is there anything i should be doing here? anything ineed to be aware of or look out for? is this strain nute sensitive. is she a hearty grower? i mean i know nuthin here! any help?
regards......tinman:tree:

Without pics its really hard to tell. From what you are describing it seems to be a heat or air movement issue. Fluoros are low heat but that doesn't mean they can't burn. Are you blowing air directly on it? This can cause windburn which will also make leaves yellow, brown and curl up and crinkle. It could be a humidity issue, if the humidity is too low it could be drying your plants out. Without pics its hard to tell exactly what it is. :joint:

yer rite bout the pic thing! im not sure of the history she has with the former owner but my fan blows on them indirectly and just faintly. humidity is low im sure.ill move the lites up a bit and see what happens. ill get a humidifier soon also. humidity has not been a prob. for the strain i just grew so i should check it and radify it asap.
i was thinkin maby it was a bit of a nute issue seeing how it hasnt been fed any grow nutes just bloom nutes with some additives of which im not sure. i think i'll just feed and water them for a bit and see what she tells me! thanx calcio,i hadnt thought of the lite being too close, and humidity needs to be addressed im sure! wish i could post pics but it aint possible rite now. maybe after xmas ill have the money to fix the computer! till then i'll just keep askin you all questions and poke and hope!
thanx fer hangin in there with me,peeps!....tinman
