This is the first series of shots I've taken with the new camera. This camera has a ton of bells and whistles!!! It'll be a while before I'm shooting like a pro, but so far so good!

This is a potential superplant for indoor gardens here. Called Big Money, this lovely lady is a TRC (texas Resin Co.) project - a limited edition, so-to-speak...

She's obviously indica dominant, which I'd expect from Lonestar and the TRC. - those guys LOVE their heavy-hitting indicas. LOnestar discovered the Sharon clone, so he knows what he's doing...

Here's the pix

Thanks for popping by folks!

This camera is too much fun!!! Too many controls too, but I like things that are complicated.

I think what I need now is some appropriate photography lighting.

Here's some Killer Queen, been curing for a long time :smoke:

I'm sure I'll get more stuff up in here later today

Nice shots Icky. Must be a killer cam

Maistre, thanks for the link dude! I was sent this link yesterday by another ICMag member - I used it to do my research and make my decision to get this camera  Great site for sure! Thanks.

I'm trying to figure this thing out, but it's lots of fun :) My biggest problem right now is lighting.

Read, read read that manual Crazy, and thanks , yea the sony is the size of a pack of cigs, metal body too..If I was shopping for an SLR body camera the canon would be it, I bought my gf the s500 powershot. I got the japanese revision of the Us version DSC-T1, the DSC-T11 for myself, I was able to see the tricomes when they looked ready with this cam

Starting to get it! hehehe

There's so many options to tweak! I love it!

This is some cool-looking middies I like to smoke sometimes. Tastes good, burns good, decent head. It's weed :smoke: Smoke it! Most of all, it's a good subject to practice with.

Nice cam,I read the particulars,CC....congrats!
I know Nikon and Olympus menus, but am clueless as to the workings of Canons.
Doh!
However,I can offer,for anyone's perusal,a few tips on mucking about with a 'better' camera....and,being baked I'm feeling like typing....so....off I go....
Use the built-in "filters" liberally, and don't be afraid to use them 'out of context' with the manufacturer's reccys.
Grab a halogen lamp for clear, blue lighting,(you can (easily) balance the blue w internal filters or 'normal' house bulb lighting, which is red/yellow anyhow-)
It's good to shoot on a non-reflective background,suede leather's good,as are fabrics.
Finished leather's also good, but remember you have to bounce the flash at an angle to avoid glare spots....
It's good to use direct,top-lighting (and add 'macro' function) when shooting from .3m or less....
And shoot a hundred shots when you only think you need two.
Why?
Because you CAN. :D
(The joys of digital photography!)
After a time, you won't need to take as many to get that 'perfect' picture, trust me.
Also,do NOT store pics on your HD,ever.
Straight from memory card > online gallery (or)
Burn to CDROM and bury,deep.

That's all from The Sports Desk.
