ok you have a piece of property you dont live there but you use the normal monthly electricity to charge batterys. durring the winter month unleash the batterys and the normal usage and grow 2 huge (? not giantic) 20-25K-watt runs. who is the battery expert and won't new battery tech. make this feesable? or am I:abduct::joint:

Yes it's possible, however you'll need batteries that are long term storage safe. Some technologies self discharge over time.

Sodium-sulfur batteries might work for this. Vanadium redox might work as well.

Batteries that could produce these results exist, unfortunately, they would not be cost effective as they would cost more than the street value of the grow..... Maybe someday but we will have to wait for this one.. Great concept, give it some time to evolve.

You're actually better off mechanicallly storing energy, using the spare power to do something like pump water uphill to later run a micro-turbine or something similar. Mechanical storage of energy is pretty easy to do. It's not entirely efficient but it can be fairly cheap to set up.

really, do tell! 20-25 #'s @ $3500= roughly 77,000$ how much more could they cost?
