hey guys,

everything was going fine until a day or two ago, I have two WWxBigBud in a custom dwc I made, the plants still seem to be growing but the leaves are lookin like they are burnt. The temps are fine in the box, never gets over 80, ph is 5.8-6.3 always, could it be that I overnuted? PPM is at 500ish. Any help is appreciated

the plant is too small for that amount of nutrients. the nutrient burn in the picture means nutrient burn, so use less. cover the top of your soil with a cutout from a white plastic bag, less light will help keep algae and shit from growing. check the nutrients you are using, see if they include all the necessary micronutrients cannabis needs (like mg, carbon, blah blah). change your water weekly, and supplement with a small amount of hydrogen peroxide once a week. there's alot of residue on you leaves, try not to put such hard liquids on your plants...

get them out of soil, use the hydroton as a medium only. soil holds to much moisture for DWC setups. Start there and see if they get better. Is that a drip system? Doesnt look like DWC. They look overwatered.

What DirtySouth probably means is they look under-oxygenated. If they were in soil, that would be caused by overwatering. In DWC, that means that you don't have enough oxygen in your reservoir. Do you have a good airstone ? As far as the 'soil', loose it quick or you will be creating yourself more problems -- root rot, Fusarium or Pythyium. I agree too, Hydrogen Peroxide should be added, 5 ml/ gal @ 3%. Good luck and good growing -- Walter Mitty.

Yep that config isnt doing the plant well. I would start them in rockwool or another inert medium before dropping them into the hydroton.

hard to tell but do i see insect marks all over that plant too? Not good if you have a big infestation before you even start but I might be seeing wrong.

Thanks for all the responses guys!!!

Blackmelo: Im free of insects, no worries about that

DirtySouth: How should I transplant the plant to a different medium, can I just set it in the hydroton or should I cut a rapid rooter on one side and put the plant in there?

Thanks again guys,

oh and the strain is white widow x big bud from femaleseeds.nl

I thought it was a drip system.

You can transplant directly into the hydroton (which is what I would do in a drip system) You can try the Rapid Rooter too, I just get tired of trying to cut them suckers in half.

Keep it green
