Good afternoon all! As the title says, im firing up a new room to try out the gavita de1000s and the dimensions are 5x5x8. Ill only be running 6 plants in this space, but since im new to the gavitas, i had a couple questions.

The Room: 5x5 flower room inside a 12x12 bedroom with central air (only utilizing 4x4 area for plants)
Intake: passive intake
Exhaust Fan: 8" 500 cfm
Light: Gavita DE1000
Osc. Fans: 2 osc fans inside growspace

With normal temps in the house at 70 degrees, do you think passive intake with a 500cfm exhaust fan will be enough to cool down the space with it running at 1000w?

thanks in advance

Gavitas are the warmest lights available. But the par is off the charts! Try it. If your temps are too warm bring cool air from your rooms vent to your intake. This should work fine.

Welcome to the best light available. With the right strains we've seen 2.5 a light under the DE lamps.
