Fukk those are sweet looking flowers, yo!

I started enjoying glue again after flowering it under the DE CMHs, have to clean my fingers after breaking it up or I can't roll that shit.

You put anything OD this season?

My Sour Valley in the set it and forget it room is looking about as nice as I could hope. There's big Glue behind this section that I started taking down this morning. It's been a while since I've run a Glue so I'm really appreciating it.:tiphat:

Not sure...how many people have studied hops varietals to actually understand WHAT makes the beer they like so likable.?

Budwiser is corn based pilsner while Coors is rice based pilsner. How many know that even? VERY FEW and you're talking the most popular brands in the nation.

I'm not thinking the "craft" market will go down like so many expect. Fact is, not enough people CARE about the details, they just want the escape. Most people are escaping - not expanding. That is an important distinction to make.

I knew that.
I think they may use GMO grains too

I have also grown hops. I had a year rounder going, but its gone now.

Im an all grain brewer. I began about 1997. I have a 30 gallon micro brewery in my shop, and use both the 22 oz bottles, and stainless soda kegs . I have 2 C02 tanks and a dual gage to push the beer out of the kegs, Ive formulated about 25 specialty ale, lager, stout, Pilsner, barley wine, and other assorted styles. I also dry hop for added aroma

I should get out in the garden to take some pictures for you guys of my Nevilles Haze x Oax plants. They are from the seeds Nevil sent me. Beautiful plants.

You all have a great day! :tiphat:

I have one of these I have had since the original release. Very good up smoke. Hard to describe the very complex flavor. Spicy and creamy at the same time. I also have several thousand seeds I made with the 3 stinky males. The gorilla glue and longs peak blue crosses have both produced some great smoke.

Today's the last day for this Sour Grape. If I don't have most everything down today summer will be gone and I'll never make it out fishing whether I catch anything or not. We always see some good stuff, the "big one" always evades me.:tiphat:

Chunky, I only stuck one plant outside, my Sour Valley in case of an emergency power failure. I think I've found some winners in your seed stock though. The SFV crosses are much taller and lankier while the Glue crosses are shorter, stockier and stacked. A couple were flipped about 10 days back and they're super fat.

One of Chunky's Glue x OGKB 2.0 clones 10 days into a test run. The mothers from seed are down in my tent under T5 racks so I'll at least be able to have some flowers to test while I figure out what's best. Both the Glue and the OGKB 2.0 are so easy to run in my own experience at least that there has to be a winner in there. This one was roughly 8" tall when I flipped it 10 days back.

GG4 x OGKB 2.0 should be some fire!

@Dr.Pur - point being, your interest drove you to be your own producer. I think we'll see the same with cannabis. The true production will remain in basements and closets. I think those who care enough about the details, will become growers, effectively eliminating the craft markets potential.

Always killing it in that backyard Dr. Beautiful stuff indeed.:tiphat:
Once September 15th comes around up here you'd better have things tied down in a thousand places. The storms are merciless.
When you leave the mainland and start traveling east, the trees grow noticeably shorter and shorter the further you go and there's a good reason for that. Relentless winds. It can be like Dorothy's dream from the Wizard of OZ, chickens flying, trees, witches you name it.

Was not replying, hoping someone else would jump in nepalnt21.
I've commented on the Nev Sis several times in the thread.

Plant grows with a strong vigorous frame, starts to produce skunk smells during veg that can be smelled 50+ feet away outdoors.
Up close there is a sweet piney incense combined with the skunk.
In flower she throws dense ping pong ball nuggets of large calyxes crusted in resin glands on the christmas tree plant. Flower to leaf ratio is favorable.
She's a haze hybrid so 12 weeks indoors is a good ballpark. Worth every minute. I ran her outside.

Smoke tastes like she smells.

The sweet piney incense foundation suggests you might find enlightenment, but the skunky chem hashplant is in charge and insists it's party time. Fuzzy headed bell ringer with long lasting effects. Not a knockout effect that locks you in the couch, but it may remind you of when your Mom said you were "a lazy good for nothing dope head who will never amount to anything" (or maybe that's just what your Mom said to me?)

The haze keeps you alert enough to get your money's worth from the buzz, but don't write your college thesis while under her spell.

You may find that her increased potency and seductive taste makes you neglect all your other smoke. As a matter of fact, you may find yourself smoking her all day every day to get that taste and warm fuzzy headspace.

It's OK. YOLO :)
Over a period of months, the Nev can start to get in your head and you may find yourself peeking out the mini blinds checking to see if "those bastards" are out there.
They aren't.
Time to mix it up. Change to some other strain (any other strain) and put a chastity belt on that Nev Sis jar.
Better yet, give it away to a friend and tell them not to smoke it.
Sure as shit it will be gone in a few weeks.
Don't ask them what happened to it. You already know.

I am a big fan of the line and wish you good luck in your grow.

Please share pics and a smoke report of your own. Remember, hazes and sativas in general benefit big time from a decent cure.

3 weeks is the minimum before she starts to show what she's got.
4 or 5 will be even better.

My son and I have 2 grow spots. One is here at my place on just over a quarter acre, and here is out ridge top spot. We will be breeding at both locations. Its hard to tell from the picture, but, the green House is enormous, and very tall. Its 40 to 50' long for perspective

:woohoo: Wow Dr you really know how to put the W in work. There's nothing worse than having nothing to do and as my old man would have said: "I'd be as happy as a clam up there".

I lost my camera for a bit, couldn't figure out what happened to it and after turning everything upside down I found it sitting on a shelf in the stairway to my cellar veg. Not that there was much to take pics of but I knew I'd left it on the computer and it was driving me into conspiracies.:)
Up-potted my Sour Valley outside into 10 gallons of coco/perlite, bat guano/kelp mix. Couple days back I threw a net over it to shape it up and I'll move it to the sunniest spot I have maybe in 5 days or so when the wife's sisters are gone, you can never be too careful with sisters-in-law, at least in my case. I have a big fat brother in law that isn't much better, hahahahahaha.:tiphat:
So when she moves into some real sun this one should do alright. It's my one outdoor plant. Took some decent pics of my friends plants that I'll post once I run down to Cumby's and fight for some cream for my coffee. My 8th grader says it's like the bar in "Star Wars" down there...
