OG Cookie Haze #2. This one is a narrow-leafed, super tall, lanky plant but the flowers are immaculate.
We took down the outdoor Sour Nevils yesterday afternoon after it had a chance to dry out from the rain we had the day before. The wind's been blowing so hard it was near impossible to keep upright. It's 28 F right now and we were afraid it was going to go down to 23 or something so I pulled it. All in all the whole outdoor thing was a success. There are mountains of flowers to trim, at least for my world.:)
Next year I'll start earlier and run larger versions of the plants that did well this year. I think if I set the same Sour Nevils cut out a month earlier and 2' bigger she'll go past 10'. The Mandarin Cookies are a no-brainer along with the OGKB 2.0.

Sounds like you timed it right. Congrats!

Damn EB! That's a nice girl :tiphat:
Can you describe the branching on her? Curious if she held up her weight well or was floppy.

G `day Capo

They got vegged in a tight space .
Stretched a bit more than if they weren`t fighting for light .

Basic OG type structure ie . Long internode distances nugs at the nodes .
Just started to flop this week as its about ready to harvest . So pretty good at supporting itself . Stretched 3-4 times the size once flowering .

Looking fwd to combustion testing .

Thanks for sharin

You know why I'm askin . . . they have the little "splash" of big mullum in there ;-) Those branches were ridiculously strong.

Using the Mul Pearl for outcross on such a great momma and doing the BX was a great move on Chaco's part. A real treat to see you growing them brother.

So how does the Nevils Haze feel for the high? Any indica feel to it or on the way down? I have some Swami NL5Hz and am gonna pop a couple soon. Trip weed I hope?

I ran the Blue Orca Haze which has some Nevil in it but it leaned indica for me.

yesum, swami they call it Neville's haze but its old IBL NL5 x Haze its from "the seed bank" which was owned by Nevil 1988

Neville's haze is from greenhouse later on w/shantibaba and ajran Its a tribute to Nevil (NL5xHaze) x Haze

Theres is coots old IBL NL5/Hz (the seed bank)

Nevilles haze still available Mr.Nice (shantibaba) and Greenhouse (Ajran)

People lean toward mr nice for regular seeds check out their auctions

I still think greenhouse still can have some the original genetics but have gone femenized

Greenhouse at one time w/shanti was cutting edge and all regs but shanti split and formed 'mr nice'

Yeah, you should def get nevilles haze mr nice and greenhouse.....

Well...its just a totally different strain

Its confusing way to name that Its really an old IBL made from like 5 seeds I think

Nl5 x Haze (the seed bank ) can have very sativa phenos

I think they just want to make sure that everyone knows they came from Nevil but thats a super confusing way to name a strain

Yeah, from what you seem to be after you need to look in Neville's Haze its got much more haze and its the old Haze C male crossed to NL5/Hz

Its kind of the haze you may be in search of.... freak trip weed plants are in there for sure!

And yeah I dont know the swami plant seems well worth growing old 1988 NL5/hz

I'd not trust anything from Swami to be legit at this point. He's been rehashing and magically finding "new" old stock since 2012. Cootz got tired of his crap (dishonesty) and distanced himself a while ago.

^^ To be fair Coot seems to have gotten tired of just about everyone he ever dealt with. Does not mean he is wrong either.

Gas markets himself a little much for sure but the genetics are correct imo. With all the strains he offers he can not have worked most of the crosses much. Crosses two strains and sells it.

Nevil seems to have fallen off the map. Not anything coming from him now that I know of. He was looking for a grail strain or cross a bit ago but did not find it yet.

Lucy x OG Cookie Haze #2. Couldn't be happier seeing how this one is coming out, I only wish I'd cut her back a bit but I wasn't expecting her to go for the roof. Smells just like you hope it would. Greasy.
Cut down 5 OG Cookie Haze #1's yesterday, such a great plant but tiny compared to this beast.:tiphat:

Happy Thanksgiving, you gobblers!

Here are a couple photos of one of my MNS Grail Widow F2s...at 12+ weeks this female has lots of resin, smells wonderfully of piney citrus haze with a floral/nutty finish, and she looks to be a pretty good yielder. I found an extreme sativa expression in one of her male siblings and used that male on this female to make F3s, which I hope to grow out next year. I'll post a smoke report in a month or so.

Oh my goodness, so much easier. The original Lucy is a bitch in every way so this is my attempt at finding something similar, easier and as close as possible to the original. I still have to transplant a bunch of others and flip them to see how good they are etc but if the one I flipped came out this well then there's a good chance the other 8 or so should have something good.
When I first started seeing how big the colas were growing I was a bit worried they might be junk. Now that she's around day 70 I know I was wrong there. Hopefully, I can do the transplants and flip the others this week or at least before the end of the month. All of the HAOG x SSDD's came out great as well so this big seed run I started back in late July was well worth it. I'm still into the power company for a good piece though, vegging 50 seedlings until they showed sex was time-consuming and costly but well worth it. Just having the one HAOG X SSDD cut and the 2 OG Cookie Hazes would have been worth it.
The HAOG x SSDD plant I kept is finished but I just haven't had the time to take her down.:) I thought I had a picture in my albums but I guess I didn't and I erased my chip. I'll grab some batteries for my camera today before I take her down. She ripped the rock wool apart.

Anyone know how long a Neville's Haze male takes to throw it's pollen? Or how long For a Female to produce seeds?

30-45 days more or less depending on which version of Nevil's haze you have. Seeds should be done 6-8 weeks from there even though the plants themselves may not be done.
