Nevilles Haze X Everything....

This plant wasn't labeled but I thought it looked like a Kosher Kush when I set it out but now I'm not so sure what it is. I have these moth/grasshopper kind of bugs that don't eat the leaves but they leave this white shit behind them. They find their way into my veg through a crack in the door to the cellar but they seem harmless, the shit they leave washes off with plain water. Summer jumpers, they're hard to catch. They like the Sour d x Valley BX next to the Sour Nevils and they leave everything else alone. We had to move this plant back to the edge of the yard so it would get more sun, it was not easy!

Well, so much for that! The storm came through here and blew most of my outdoor plants to pieces. I hid inside most of the morning trimming but went out a few times to try and minimize the damage. It was blowing and raining so hard, honestly, it was ridiculous. You win some...and you lose some!:)

I managed to salvage quite a bit in the afternoon and into the night. Once the rain stopped and the wind really started cranking, just looking at everything all smashed up was a bit overwhelming. When I was out there mid-morning trying to pull up the Sour Nevils, the wind was blowing downwards, branches were flying around etc. The only thing missing was chickens and pigs flying by.
Seems I was right on the edge of the swirl from the leftovers of that hurricane but like when I started the outdoor thing I knew I'd be happy if I ended up with an oz. I spent plenty of nice evenings out there just smelling the plants in the light breeze during some of the warmer days of the fall. I'm not sure I could have done much more to keep the plants upright, not a chance the wife was going to let me cover the backyard with a net let alone a giant car park tent/greenhouse. Since I saved a mountain of flowers and tied the big Sour Nevs up with a few ropes and stakes, I'm pretty happy. It was so warm and dry in the shop I just sat in there and trimmed until it was over. My indoor came out stellar but cost me a whole lot more than the $150 I spent on the outdoor.

Crazy enough, many of the flowers had swollen up over the past several days despite the weather. This one, in particular, my only plant from seed. When I went out during the storm the Sour Nevils had fallen on top of this one and it saved the giant one from hitting the ground. Lots of bent colas and snapped branches but I learned enough so that next year I'll be way ahead of the game.
I could only guess where the sun would be coming through this late in the season so now I know where not to set them out next year and then when my wife's at work I'll sneak around and trim down some of the bushes back there. Also going to load up on Mandarin Cookie, OGKB 2.0 and clones from this Sour D x SFV Bx3. I would add Sour Dub onto that list as it finished properly like the OGKB but I gave away all the clones I had thinking I had an extra.
The Sour D is ruined, along with the Capital G. I knew the Sour was a big risk anyway but just growing it and smelling it everywhere was good enough. These pics are a bit off as I'd used a flash at first light.

The Sour Nevils after the thrashing she went through. Now I have 4 ropes holding her up. Didn't lose a single branch and have yet to find any mold at all on her. It's a pretty dull shot but she could have very well been on the ground. All of the bug shit on the Sour cross in front was washed away.

The top end of the bigger Mandarin Cookie. Like I'd said earlier, this one is very mold resistant, has extra strong branches and smells for miles. I have a giant one in 20 gals of coco indoors. Might have to take her down sometime this week.
Strangely enough, posting here has been rather therapeutic. I'm so overloaded with flowers and just regular shop work and I don't have anybody around who has any clue about what I do.

Looking good, Stardog. You had better luck than me. That storm put a hurting on my plants. I know better than to count on an outdoor run but I was looking forward to having some full sun bud to smoke on. But like my Yankees, we'll have to get 'em next year. ;)

I'm in a race to bring most of what I have down before any more rain sets in. Despite some rainy, cold days I never in my life thought this would go so well. The rest of the state seems to be borderline freezing this morning but we only hit 39F here. Will try to grab some pics of the more"fantastic" stuff that laughed at what the weather was throwing at it. Being alone, it's going to be a long day but I'm not complaining. The Cookie hybrids have a been a blessing for my neck of the woods.
When the sun hits the big Sour Nevils I'll throw in some new batteries. The thing's been waving around like a palm tree in a hurricane this week.:)

I left a few branches on the Sour Dub when I cut most of it last week and despite the up and down weather, these leftovers are nice. having a quick coffee break before I run back out and keep whacking branches.:)
