Nepalese Highland

This Nepalese Highland was generously gifted to me by Charlie Garcia. I started three seeds, two showed fem and one male was used for hobby breeding. I planted one in a tree top garden and the other in the swamps. Unfortunately I only have pictures of the one in the tree, which turned out the best anyway. The plants started slow but once they became established under sunshine they really took off. They seem to love the outdoors. The flowering showed very early. The ripening developed rather quickly for a plant with such sativa attributes.
The smell is mild with earthy and honeyed tones. The flavors are deep and rich with an earthy peaty hash tang with citrus and floral undertones. Very unique. The flavor kind of reminds me of my SOL Shishkaberry cut. The buzz is special with a happy ear to ear grinning head thump that last. Great for outdoor activities. The buzz seems to pull me outside. It seems to want me to be in a natural interaction for it to be heightened. Interesting genetics.

The photo is not showing?? All the other photos you have posted show beautiful creations..nicely done!

Dealing with Charlie/Kaiki is a great experience-very ethical and honest people with spectacular strains.Having access to their genetics is a rare pleasure.
Charlie even offered to take care of a problem for me in Spain even though it has nothing to do with him-shows how much he cares!

I'd love to snag some good Nepalese genetics to work with. Wish ACE got the approval to formally release their pure stock.

Nepal Highland is not a ACE line nor they ever worked with, but CBG task. Originally come from Reeferman stock I exchanged. ACE has a Katmandu sativa instead, am sure, I reproduced it years ago!

Agree with your description SM, produces me much hunger after 2 hours as well. I like this, its funny with sociability and kinda euphoria. Thats was the main goal in its job, trying to keep its effect and feelings as Nepalese as possible

About its release, may be if results in Fn5 come good. And first in feminized, unfortunatelly there is not market for regular seeds.

"unfortunatelly there is not market for regular seeds."

I sure do hope that it is a trend that doesn't stick around for too long. I just have a bad feeling about too many fem beans.

Happy Growing.

I dont see how that statement could be true. I know many people after pure P1 regular stock. Are you still producing these seeds? I have some reefermans Nepalese seeds. Anyone have any idea when reef last produced these or hold old these seeds could be? theyre in the blue matchbook pack

There is a market for regular seeds.

I will add these to my stable in the near future :tiphat:

Honestly there's no much market for regular/standard seeds around the world. It's a pitty and that's the fact, the feminized and auto scene takes more than 90 % of the market in Spain, situation is a bit better outside but not so much, cannabis commercial scene flows to the fem/auto market and in usa to all the kush thing.

I try to stay positive and i also believe things will change, and standard seeds will have a bigger place in the future, many growers are dissapointed with the auto seeds they are buying, they produce smaller plants of poor yield and inferior quality compared with the high quality non auto flowering traditional lines.

The biggest problem is that most new auto seedbanks are trying to take part of the auto fem 'cake of sales' by crossing 'elite' dutch strains with auto genes, and they are focusing all their reproduction, catalogue and new strains to produce auto fem versions of the dutch classics, in the future all the genepool will be mixed with lowryder rudelaris genetics, this will be a great crisis in the commercial genepool, the elite non auto clones will be lost with the time (as it usually happens with elite clones after many years) and we will end up with a commercial scene dominated by the auto dutch genetics, poor genepool for the future generations.

Without any doubt, the higher use of high quality standard seeds will be the only way to prevent this future situation.

PD: Coming back to topic, Nepalese highland was a sativa line that reeferman exchanged with charlie, CBG is offering nepalese highland now in pure form!

Fortunatly most ACE Seeds sales past years are in regular/standard format but we are a quite different seedbank and we obviously we dont try to get part of all all the cannabis

Ou, no, no! No, don't go that way!
There is enough fem seeds around, let someone else take care of them.
World needs a seedbank with good solid landrace seeds and them regular.
It might not be a consolation, that you are a path to something that all the others have gone by.
Greed in their eyes and pockets full of money from stupid ones, who don't fantasize of growing something own.
Those people take what they can get, and it's not much. It's decaying genetics!

There are still good people who understand the value of original.
Value of landrace, without spoiling it with femseeds!
Put your seeds into safetybox, if you cant't sell them. They are like Picasso in safe, after 10 years!
Value you can't get from anywhere anymore!

Please, don't go all fem or auto!

I know the idea of a pure nepalese strain is exciting but there are already pure nepalese strains in the market. I think you guys should look more into nepjam... after reading and rereading all the threads i could muster on the net about nepalese strains and looking at everythread on here about the bluemountain jamaican 85 I really think the BMJ 85 cant add anything except good qualities and vigour to this nepalese line. I have faith that dubi and charlie know what they are doing and there is a reason they release the lines that they do if anything they have most likely improved the nepalese line as they recieved it in the nepjam offering. Nepjam is 75% nepalese and seems to add short flowering yeild and improve bud structure in pure landrace strain crosses, as in the mextiza offering by cannabiogen. In fact reef himself stated the nepalese line is inbred so much that it works best as a breeding tool. The fact cannabiogen used nepjam to cross to the oaxaca strain rather than nepalese when he has both at his disposal speaks volumes.

Just go with nepjam guys dubi and charlie took the nepalese ibl saw its weaknesses and fixed them over the course of years with their work in finetuning the nepjam line.

btw thanks dubi and charlie for the hard work you and your crew do. You guys are the real deal and it takes real balls to do the work you do in this era...

mucho respeto

Nepalese Jam is a highly worked inbred hybrid and it reacts almost like an IBL when outcrossing, it's stable, very early flowering for an almost pure sativa, works great indoors, happy high, mold resistant ... great plant for breeding projects ;)
