Need travel advice for Rotterdam. Please help!

In April 2010, our cruise ship is stopping in Rotterdam on a Thursday from 8to5. I want to use public transportation to get to Keukenhof before lunch time. On the way, I want to stop at a coffeshop to get a couple of joints and a space cake. My main concerns are whether or not there is a decent coffeeshop that will be open that early on a Thursday. The coffeeshop needs to be accessible via public transport and needs to be between Wilhelminaplein station in Rotterdam and Leiden. Any details you can share about what stations/trams/trains or buses I should use to carry out this itinerary would also be really appreciated. I do know that I can take the Metro from Wilhelminaplein station to Rotterdam Central Station, then a train to Leiden. But since I'm trying to fit a morning cannabis purchase into the mix, I'm unsure exactly what my options are. Thanks so much in advance for any help or advice you can give.

all i can say from my experience, is there are loads of coffee shops in rdam, all mainly in the same area/few roads...i would have thought a few will be open in the morning....
