As the title states, I'm looking to plumb 2, 32 gal trash cans together. I don't have time to order supplies from the internet. So home depot, lowes, and the local hardware store will have to supply anything I need.
Starting a job that will require me to be out of town all week, and only home on the weekends. I have a drip system that I'm gonna set up. Thing is, I don't want the water in a single trash can to get too low while I'm away and burn up the pump.
I have a partner that will be able to be there every day. Thing is, is that it's his first time growing. He's been watching and learning for the last 3 months. So I thought........had him fill a gallon jug with water the other night. Told him to put 1/4 teaspoon of ph down into it. He brings it back to me, and the water looked orange. I asked how much ph down he put in. He says 1/4, the black cup right? Well he put a 1/4 cup in. It read ph 1.7!!!!!!
So you can see my dilemma. I plan on writing detailed instructions, and taping measuring spoons to said directions. Just the fewer measurments and adjustments he has to make, the better for me and the plants, lol!
Any idea's, and input is greatly appreciated. Stupid comments, and general dickheadishness will be treated as such.
