need to choose 24/0 under t5's or 12/12 under hps

i dont do auto's usually but i popped all my old seeds including 2 Sour 60's. I have a t5 veg chamber @ 24/0 and a flower room using 1000w hps on 12/12. Because of the others are not auto's i cant change the hps light cycle. The 2 are about 25 days old under the t'5's. Should i put them under the big hps at 12/12 or leave them longer under the t5's at 24/0. any suggestions

no suggestions? well i guess ill leave them a few mor days under t5's @ 24/0 then to 12/12 they go.

I was in the same dilemma. I am growing 4 plants. 2 autos and 2 photo plants. What I decided to do was run my light 24/0 untill the auto is done stretching. Then, after the the stretch, I will switch to 12/12 to let the all plants mature. Going 12/12 on an auto will give you a very tiny plant.

I would go for the 24/0 T5's.



That is a Blue Streak auto where I used a couple 65w CFL bulbs and given that I am baked but pretty sure it was on a 24/7 because I could not achieve total darkness.

How many watts are your T5s?

I'm blooming AK 47 under 432 watts of T5 as a normal thing.

Veg'd under 216watts T5. Just get'em down to within 5-6"s of the tops. They will suffer damage if you let'em touch.
