the soil i am using is miracle grow garden organic i mix it with perlite and sand,i am using a extended feed fertilizer in pebble form

The soil you are using is not intended for containers. It is meant to be mixed with your native soil outdoors. I bought a bag of this by accident once and thought I could mix it with some coir fiber I had and perlite. Even at 40% coir and 20% perlite this soil simply retained too much moisture.
There are much better choices for soil than miracle grow, but if that is all that is available, make sure that it is their potting mix, or their organic potting mix.
Replace that soil, it will cause you nothing but grief and wasted grow space.

Soil is too messy and invites pests for indoor use in my opinion. You control all the nutrients yourself anyway so you don't need a "soil" to provide nutes. I would just use a soil substitute. B'cuzz hydro mix HP looks just like peat based soil and is easy to work with. One $35 bale is enough to fill 18 5 gallon buckets
