need some help !!!

hey guys,

Looking into getting a DR80 grow-tent tomorrow, the dimensions are 2'8"x2'8"x5'3", what would you suggest for lighting, is a 400w-600w hps/mh too much? or no? what would you recommend?

Really depends on how much air exchange is in the tent. What are you doing for ventilation? One of our patients runs a 4x4 tent with a 1000w HPS...he uses an 8" 760cfm c-fan and keeps it plenty cool enough.

Yeah I was planning on using a 6" inline fan, around 440CFM

I was thinking a 600w might work beautifully.

I run a 600 watt HPS in a DR-120 (48 x48) tent. My exhaust is a small $15.00 bath fan.The hood is not ventable. I have no heat issues.

Go with the 600.
