I have 6 rooms in multiple locations and for a long time I could not figure out why my plants in just one room would not grow or yield what I expected. Forgot to mention this happens to be my biggest room 12 x 14. Six 1000 watt lights . I started the room about 4 weeks ago plants were looking great then they looked exactly like a Phosphorus (P) deficiency. So I started to check my nutes, ppm, ph, fresh air intake, temp, hunidity, also have a dual burner gen 1 co2, and could not figure out the problem. So I started to remove the yellowing leaves from the plants and was on the computer and noticed these small little insects on the leaves that I had trimed of the plants. I lookeed and deteremined that they are spider mites. So my million dollar question is does spider mite infestation and their work make your plants look like you have a deficiency.

Yes,mites will create noticeable trauma to the plant called "stippling". The mite has a small straw like appendage for a mouth and feeds by sucking the juices from the leaves. This feeding causes yellowing and small speckled type spots on the leaves usually becoming noticeable at the bottom of the plant first.

Thanks for the info!!! I started spraying Acatrol to the plants hopefully this will work. Once again Thanks.

It'll start with a speckling of yellow and tiny crawling things on the undersides of your leaves then you will see webs at the branch nodes and around the edges of the leaf blades down to where they come together accompanied by much more spot damage as the mites feed ... then it's Maricopa County Jail (tent city) with things resembling caterpillar nests shortly followed by Very dead plants ... my browser couldn't make sense of your photofuckit link ... so I broke it down for you quick like ... maybe try a search (did I say that??) they are also called The Borg on at least 1 thread here (possibly Battling the Borg???)
