Sativas are awesome. Get some good potent Haze man, and you will forget about anxiety for sure.

first time i had a good haze, i got to the grocery store, walked in and turned back around and drove home. my heart was PUMPING and i was perspiring. if you have anxiety, dont smoke haze.

Well personally I have never been the type of person that goes "Well my back hurts, let me go ahead ans smoke X." or "Umm, im a nerve wreck let me toke on some Y." I smoke cause i enjoy getting baked, not looking at weed for some miracle relief.. Well maybe to stuff my face with some food but other than that meh. :joint:

maybe look for a 50/50 hybrid like California Orange. shouldnt be as racy as a pure sativa. also have heard good things about Mandala's Satori.

Sativas are very good for depression, but not always good for panic/anxiety. It depends on the person. If you have any paranoid feelings, stay away from sativas. That being said, my favorite sativas are Ak-47, c-99 and trainwreck, all 75% sativa. I wouldn';t advise trainwreck for anxiety as it can be a little trippy, depending on pheno. As VG stated, best for anxiety is usually a medium indica.

I'd have to agree with this. My last sativa harvest left me totally paranoid about being busted, and I don't even grow @ home, plus there were no plants @ the plot anyway..but it's safe to say that there was PLENTY of anxiety. Even a good skunk may help you with anxiety...just make sure not to take her early. Also check out some NL selections . I AM convinced, however, that there are plenty of sativas that will give you that smiling, cottonmouth, singing-along-to-the-music highs without the anxiety. Definitely depends on your smoking environment.

I dissagree...Sativas are No good for anxiety..as H&L said they raise your blood pressure and heart rate (racy high)

Go with a indica like Bubblegum or even a ind/sat cross like good old Skunk#1 or Sour D which seems to be a comfortable high to me.. :joint:  ...

Kodiak Gold by Reeferman 40% sativa to 60% indo. He lists it as anti-anxiety.

For panic & anxiety attacks, I would say Sensi Star.. or another strong indica
I have terrible panic attacks & general anxiety and the SS that i just pulled really helps calm me down

but yes, stay away from the sativas if youre looking for anxiety relief, I ran some Arjans Haze & found it too strong for me

lol I had Kali Mist in the 'Dam that had me so anxious, I couldn't look at anyone for well over an hour. I found myself staring into space. I find good Thai does that to me too. My Indian sativa is really good for anxiety though...as long as you don't smoke too much of it, that is. Indicas are usually preferable for a low anxiety high, but enough indica will make you pretty anxious too. Moderation is key. Get yourself a small glass bowl. :)
