Hi, new at indoor and I have some stressed out plants.

Half fox farm half happy frog.
1000w hps lights

Water PH is normally between 6.4/6.8, but I read that they liked PH of 7 the best and I just switched over...then the problem got worse.

temperature is 90f during light and 77 dark.

I also just recently started foliar feeding with seaweed every other night, and giving them a water shower between then.

I feed with aggro all purpose plant food when I notice they need the bit of nitrogen. I recently added humic acid and they responded well to that but now two weeks later they are starting to look like this

They are purple kush/bubblefunk crosses-unsexed clones taken from seed stock thats remaining in veg.

Relative humidity is 30%

Any advice would be awsome :1help:

These pictures are way too off colored for anyone to even see what your problems might be.

You need to take some photos with the hps turned off. Just camera flash lighting will give us a much better look at what is going on.

sigh

okay until then thanks anyway, I will wait until they are asleep.

The colors of the leaves are all actually pretty uniform green, with it being a little bit more yellower at the new growth

i can't really tell anything from the pics because of the color and some are blurry. shut off the hps and take another pic to better show the problem.

here'd some general info to help...

fox farm makes happy frog. i'm assuming the other half is ocean forest?

a better pH for them is in the lower to mid 6's.

90f is pretty hot for the plants. they don't grow very well at those temps. the stomata close and transpiration ceases at or around those temps. raise the light or increase ventilation.

no need to foliar feed that often if at all. although kelp is an excellent foliar feed, using it every other night is overkill imho. i would use the kelp in your root feedings too. an occasional foliar with it is cool but not every other day. no need for the "water showers" either. doesn't really do them any good and can actually strip nutrients from the plant.

foliar feeding under such a high intensity light can cause weird burnt looking spots on the plants. the water acts as a kind of magnifying glass and can burn spots onto the leaves.

i don't know what aggro plant food is. googled it quickly and didn't see it. is it a miracle grow type food? make sure it has all the micro nutes in it. if not find a source - your kelp is one. also, with soil that has the possibility of having a healthy microbial population that can be very useful to the grower, try not to use chemical nutes - if that is what aggro is (i suspect it is). it will kill them and you won't have any help getting all the goodies out of your FFOF (if that is what you have).

30% humidity is a little low. shoot for 50%. even up to 60% in veg. wouldn't get over 50% in flower though = mold.

good luck and be more specific about your problem.

Yes the other half is Ocean forest.
Yes it is a chemical based fert I think- What are some good organic alternatives?

just aquired some mycrorizzah(sp?) innoculants so I need to be wary of that now.

I only foliar feed when the lights are off so I don't burn them.

AGRO ALL-PURPOSE™ Nutrient (5-7-5) with all the Essential Macros, features patent-pending CMS™ Technology from GroWonders, a water-based stable calcium, magnesium and sulfur solution. With all essential macronutrients included, plants tend to grow stronger and faster and may use far less nitrogen. Great for all orchids, plants and hydroponics’ feeding.

* Get faster growth
* Enjoy longer lasting blooms
* Grow larger, healthier plants
* Exclusive formula (patent pending)
* Contains all the nutrition your plants need

Thanks so much for you're patience, this is my first time indoor and I wanna learn as much as I can the first time through.

Mycorrihizae is awesome stuff. i think that nutrient your using will mess with them though.

that nute you got just says macronutes. still need the micros.

if you can get fox farm soil than you can get their bottled ferts probably. try FF grow big, big bloom tiger bloom

another good alternative is Earth Juice, or Pure Blend Original - for all organic. Pure Blend Pro for semi-organic (won't affect your beneficial though).

there are a lot of good things out there. you just want a complete high quality fertilizer that is not chemical based if you are running in a living soil.

otherwise do chem ferts and an inert medium like coco coir (awesome) or rockwool (yuk) or anything. again a million different methods that a million different people on hear will defend to their deaths.

still don't know what the problem is though. probably a micro nute deficiency? i'll check back.

I raised the lights and did a light flushing and they seem to be getting better.

I will have some higher quality pics in a little while - Some of them are still kinda sick.

Are the foxfarm fertilizers safe to use with the beneficial bugs in the soil?

Sorry the quality is not very good. I have an old camera.

The stress is not as bad as it has been, I think I've narrowed it down to low humidity and high heat...are the frilly curled up taco leaves indicative of this?

Anyone have any experience with cool humidifiers?
Can these do anything to a 15x20 room thats pushing out a lot of air...

I guess it might be possible I have the low humidity because there is more negative air pressure then posssitive pressure...are there any quick fixes for adding humidity to a larger room? Sorry if I sound newbish but its because I am.
