Need "Smart" Weed Strain Suggestion

Hi all. I've been researching marijuana horticulture for over four years now and have always wanted to set up a system of my own, however I have never been able to because of security concerns. Finally, being graduated from college and living in a safe house, I am ready to start growing.

My question to you all is what strain should I start with? I am looking for genetics with a sativa-dominant high and a speed-like effect. I like to do work (number crunching) while high and I want to know if there exist any "smart" weeds.

It seems to me the best strain for this purpose is Apollo 11. However, its supply is limited among the most reputable seedbanks.

Will the A11 hybrids suffice? Or, are there other strains with a clear, sativa-dominant high that are good to work on?

(PS. I know it sounds weird to enjoy doing math tasks while high, but I am quite good at it. In fact, I find that with certain kinds of weed I have smoked over the years, I can get into a trance-like groove and accomplish quite a bit of work in a short amount of time with minimal errors -- all the while, enjoying the otherwise mundane repitition.)

A11 is what I do and I will confirm that it has that very clear thinking kind of high. The energy is comparable to coffeee. Puts ya in a great mood as well, just grinning the whole time.

Thanks for the replies. I really want to try Apollo 11 (I've never smoked it). I've found these two strains:

Spice Brothers - Apollo 11 f2s

Reservoir - Apollo Mist

Any suggestion as to which is better for my purpose?

Also, are there any other strains out there with a similar effect?

i haven't done the spice brothers a11, but i did do the apollo mist( )
the pheno i got smelled of green baby poop when you first cracked the jar open, then whent to a more rotten pinapple smell. once youve tasted it you will know it's apollo mist i got a 1/4 from a dude not long ago with 4 diferent types in it. i seen a bud that look and smelled simulare to what i had.when i fired it up i knew right away what it was.unfortunatly he had no more but i still got some seeds for another run.

i haven't smoke A11 or KALIMIST but i have smoked A11XKALIMIST and it is a trance inducing high. for me i would race of in a billion directiions but somehow still be HERE(if that makes since),,,,,,,,,,,,dwtc

There is a Kashmiri Landrace that is described as very smooth speed available from Dr. GreenThumb called Kashmir Resin Factory, It is an Indica but sounds like it might do the trick for you, here's the description:

Unfortunately there aren't any commercialy available zamal hybrids but the zmal and some of its hybrids have a way of putting you so deep in thought that you'll lose hours in an empty room with no external stimuli. I've had other herb daze me to the point that I've sat still for hours but that was because they emptied my head not like the zamal which is mentally energizing yet positive. Someone mentioned Greenthumb who makes some great strains for this purpose and is probably the best breeder for this purpose. The kashmiri is great. Niagara is also ideal for achieving this effect indoors and is easy to grow. Its not extremely sticky but is potent and has a marvelous earthy taste. His acapulco is good for this but only really good under sunlight. Another good one I'd recommend is flo.

As others have stated A11, kalimist, or C99 are good. I always loved SuperSilverHaze when I was able to get it.
