Ive always been told to get a fridge for my seeds to store them for the long term, but ive been slacking on getting it for a while.

I was wondering if there is a specific fridge on amazon or anywhere else that you guys would recommend that works and maintains its temperature well?

Ive got some great seeds itd be a shame to lose, but im having trouble finding a good fridge on amazon.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Good question friend. What kind of fridge are you talking about? The seeds have to be kept in the dark and dry during storage. What container are you going to store in the fridge if you don't mind me asking?

I use a small "man cave" sized Black and Decker fridge. I think it was $60 from Target. The temp setting is between 4 and 5. The seeds are wrapped in tinfoil and placed in old vegetable packets with a little dry white rice. Packets are placed in a sealed glass container that also has some rice on the bottom. Containers are placed in the back of the fridge, and drinks (juices or water) placed in front towards door. 12 year old seeds popped last year had over 90% germination rate.

I have fridges that have not shut off for 25 years , its the best way to save the life of your seeds, these fridges are cheap like Lolo94 says and germ rates are good

Those look fancy. Mine is just the smallest cheapest model #BCFA27B, 2.7 CU. PT . I think any good quality brand small fridge should do the trick

You can get little mini fridges on Amazon which work great. I bought mine there. It's awesome no complaints. I do keep a bigger fridge for stuff on long term storage but to keep fresh the stuff to be cultivated soon, the little one works great.
