need info on temp

just a quick question
What is the minimum tempriture when the lights are of ?
its a steady 27-28 with lights on but with lights off its down to goes down to 19 is , this to low?

my ed rosenthal book 'the closet cultivator' says

weed grows best with a temperature in the low to mid 70 deg F/ 21 deg C during the lit period, and five to ten degrees lower during the dark period.

low temps under 65 deg F/ 18 deg C slow photosynthesis and growth.

temps under 50-55 deg F/ 10-13 deg C virtually stop growth

when temps rise above 78 deg F/ 25.5 deg C the growth slows.

the rate of growth slows until temps hit 90 deg F/ 32 deg C

Sounds pretty close to the ideal to me. Maybe just a couple of degrees too warm in the daytime for some Indicas to flourish, but I don't think you'll see any problems. Just keep it below 30 in the daytime.

thanks for the replys mage and pompey monkey that helps alot ,my problem was that its just starting to get cold here and i was just wonderered if it was worth putting in a heater
