Need Helps For Fogponic

Hi

I'm currently building a Fogponics growing system:woohoo: i have some questions hoping to get answers and suggestions from you all professional growers. I am also willing to share what i have and what i know

1) I am struggling between HPA(High Pressure Fogger) and Ultrasonic Fogger(such as the Frapa). What would be the pros and cons of each method? Is one significantly better than the other when it comes to building the system and real life operating the system?

2) I've seen others built hybrid fogging system producing both dry fog and wet fog. Is that necessary?

3) I purchased a Led Light (GrowSun 320W Professional) it has 12-bands full spectra from 400-760nm & white.Someone said Led is not suitable for the flowering stage, is it true?(http://www.eshinesystems.com/growsun/growsun-series.html)

Thank you so much for your helps!!! :huggg::thank you:

The ultrasonic foggers all block up fast according to everybody, I really recommend you read Pet Flora's thread about True Aero growing, a mine of information right there

This goes back a long time, but i tried the ultrasonic foggers. Here's what i can offer for insight..,
- fog alone works through the early parts of veg, then they need more than the foggers can provide
- tied to above is heat, they make a lot, so not only does the demand for more water exist, adding more foggers is difficult to do w all the extra heat
- this means the need for water chillers, and a battle against bad stuff growing in the rez
- high pressure doesnt add heat, but requires an expensive and loud pump
- once it fails, you have very little time to notice and correct before things start to die
- once you add a water basin, then why run the fog anymore? Most of the roots will grow down into the water, and thats where most of nutes will come from

Its very problematic, and high maintenance, w a lot of risk for failure. But in theory... ;-)

Btw, i wouldnt do it again, huge waste of money and time imo, certainly wouldnt start writing checks based on expected yields
