Need help with ventilation fan choice

I've got 2 x 600w HPS lights in cooltubes, a rather large carbon scrubber and a 203.0 m3/h exhaust fan

The tent is 2.4m x 1.2m x 2m = 5.76m3

My ventilation is configured thus:

Carbon scrubber -> 600w HPS -> 600w HPS -> extractor fan -> outside vent (125mm ducting)

I have opened the vents along the bottom of the tent so it is a passive intake but the temp is still to high (86-89f)

I will be going into town tomorrow and can pick up a fan for a decent price.

If there is any info missing just ask and I will provide it :)

I have a few questions:

Will a 422m³/h exhaust fan do the trick?

Should I get a smaller scrubber or will the more powerful fan be enough?

Thanks for the reply :)

I found a 150mm inline rated @ 640m3/h or a can-fan @ 830m3/h but it was a 250mm model so I would have to change ducting size and have "reducers" for the cooltubes or use "step-up" pieces around the fan.

Any suggestions?

I've decided to get the 379cfm 6" fan and use step-up pieces around it to duct it to the existing 5" pipes.

If that isn't enough I will run the 600s 12 hours each til I get another carbon can and pull air through the cooltubes seperately with a Y-joint connecting them before they go to the outside vent.

Would that work or should i:

Use them both inline?

or

duct one ouside and another to the room next to the tent?

I only have easy access to one outside duct in the room the tent is in btw.

How much duct would you have to replace to do the job right. What would it cost? BTW, don't use flex duct except where it's the only way. -granger

Id try one fan on the lights and one exhausting the tent.

pics might help to visualize what ur doing.

The one on the lights, where would the heat go. I only have one outside vent so i assume you mean send it to the room next to the tent?

I made some crappy ms paint pictures for ya

I'm sure if i could use Polypropylene piping I could straighten out some parts of the ducting for a reasonable price, maybe combined with the 6" fan that would be enough to keep the temps at bay?

Yes to venting to the room. If its at a moderate temp it will help dissipate the tent heat.
