I think right side is white. When I took it a part, I said "White is right", but I want to be 100% sure before i hook it up.

I have never had any issues with this before. I just guess, then hook it up and see if it works. if it doesn't, I reconnect.

I have yet to blow out any ballasts, so i think I am ok. I will see if I can find you a wiring diagram.

Normally neutral will be white and hot would be bronze or any other shade but white

Are the screws for tightening down the wires coloured?

Bronze or copper coloured for hot, silver coloured screw for neutral.

I don't believe there would be a problem hooking AC up reverse to a bulb.

When it comes to bulb fixtures, the code wants the hot to be the inside centre contact, far from fingers accidently touching the threaded outside part. This applies to all bulb fixtures.

Trace the inside centre contact (the one that contacts the bulb's end contact, not the bulb's threaded outside contact) to it's corresponding screw and you will have your hot (black).

Hope this helps...

I thought the left one was black, and with your method, I am proven correct. Thank you!
