need help with seedlings....

i have never delt with seedlings tell now my problemm is the seedings are about 4in tall i need to plant outdoors in a few weeks how can i weed out the males now.... can i put them in bud and pull them right back out when i see signs of sex i would like some ideaS please. they are all afgan cross strains if that plays any effect?

I can usually identify females by 1 month from sprout without messing with the photo period (see sexing thread in sig). If flipped them they would probably take just as much time. You could put them out without knowing and chop the males sometime this summer before they start flowering.

Depending on how many you have you can just plant them all outside and in a month or so you can tell the males. They won't pollinate your females unless you leave them till fall.
