need help with flouro veg room

What's up guys? I've been growing in a closet for a while and I'm wanting to open up a flourescent veg space.

The space is around 3ft by 2ft. I'm wanting to do a mixture of mostly seed plants and some clones.

I'm really not wanting to use an exhaust system. It's pretty cool temps in there anyway. And I got plenty of fans for circulation...but I don't really know anything about flourescent lighting.

What are some flourescent lights that would do ok in my space? I can go to Lowes or HD. I originally wanted to use a 4ft flouro fixture with the 40 watt bulbs but my space wasn't big enough.

You can use the 2 ft flo's,I have a couple 2 ft flo's bolted together to make a 2 ft 2 lamp fixture for clones,you could bolt together any number of 2 footers to fit your space,or use compact flo's but they dont burn as cool as tube floros.You may get other responses,I dunno

go with cool white flouros tey are cheap and best ...
20-40 wats psqf and thats it.

The most imp[ortant thing to know about using tube floro's is to keep the lamps literally 1/2 inch above the tops at all times,this means you must adjust the fixture every day or every otherd day.Even two inches away is way too far and the results will suffer.

Thanks guys. I just constructed my room today and got a 2 footer that uses 2 of the 20 watt tube flouro bulbs. I figure I can just add one or two more fixtures later if needed.

Damn I looked at lowes home depot everywhere!I couldnt find a 2 ft 2 lamp fixture to save my life,had to bolt a couple together.Make sure to keep those lamps on top of your girls,1/2 inch away
