I have everything set up. i have a 380 cfm panasonic whisper fan and a 400 watt cooltube. What I dont understand is I thought the whisper fan sucked the air and blew it out through the fan. Instead it does the oppostie. So I dont know how to configure it now ? SInce I thought it was a exhaust I Thought it would be simple. Add a air duct from one side and some opening for the air to get in on the other and thats all. But since its blows air I dont know how to set it up,. Please help I spent a lot of money on all this equipment and now I feel stuck. Thank you in advance. Much appreciated.
Want to germinate these feminized white rhino and northern lights asap.. will have apicture up tomorrow if that helps.

I think it would get to hot in the closet just using the cool tube and not having any air flow where the plants would be.
I have a bunch of computer fans that I rigged into cell phone chargers but I was saving them for my computer cmh mother/clone box

That will work fine.

You're right about the plants needing air, that's what the internal fan(s) are for. They keep it moving all over the grow space.

In through the passive vents -> Churned up by the internal fans and spread everywhere -> Out through the filter.

Your going to need to rig up some sort of converter to the "face" of the fan where the air sucks in. There are various sized adapters at home depot that do rectangular->round vent, something like this in the proper size could probably be rigged into what you need with some tin snips pliers and duct tape.

It does seem quite difficult for the grower that the panasonic fans have nowhere to hook up an intake, its just a flat vent. Just means more ingenuity required :joint:

Unfortunatly that 6" clip fan is not going to have anywhere near the pushing power to move air through a duct. It actually takes quite a bit of force to move air through duct(especially flexible duct), and to accomplish this most inline fans use a fan blade that looks something like a hamster wheel. One with a few blades as pictured is only usefull for mixing air not for moving it distances through duct.
